Chapter 6

Danita's POV

So there we where, locked on my room talking about what happened this morning. Amber stayed calm and listened all the way. I told her, I just couldn't explain how I feel. The incident on the parking lot gave me shivers down my spine and made the butterflies on my stomach so upset that I burst out to Sky.

When I finished, silence fell on the room as if that's all we needed after 2 hours of that none stop talking. I wondered what Amber thinks of me now that I have told her my story; hoping she will still be my best-est best friend. Glancing her way, she was in deep thought so I decided to break the silence.

"So what can you say? I've already told you everything."

"Well, I'd say. You're in deep s**t there Dani."

I looked her questioningly and tilted my head to the left signaling her to elaborate further. Which she did.

"Oh, c'mon! don't tell me you still don't get it? Dani, I think you're in love with her."

"HUH! No kidding. I'm in love? To someone who wont even talk to me for a fraction of a second? Whatever Amber. Let's just go down and have dinner."

Amber agreed with the idea of eating because we're both starving. My mom cooks very delicious meals that keep Amber asking for more. And while having dinner my parents decided to ask us how was school and everything. I only gave them short answers like 'its fine' or 'we're doing okay'.

After dinner, we went back up to my room and prepared for sleep. It was around midnight when I heard howling, which scared me abit. I then decided to make myself fall asleep or I won't be able to have one until morning. It was about a few minutes more when I drifted off.

That night I dreamt of running on the forest with the moon on her full height. And on that dream I was not alone. I was with a beautiful white wolf with eyes as blue as the sky in the morning and as blue as the moon in the night. That is the only visible feature that I can remember of this wolf because all was blurred.

Sky's POV

'Yeah you got that right.' My wolf suddenly got so alive and irritating. The alpha got me back from my unwanted conversation with my wolf by calling my name. He asked if there is something bothering me. I told them I was just tired from school and all. He just laughed and said that he will just be introducing one more person and he'll let us go, which lighted up my mood abit.

Alpha Patrick gestured to point at Cleo, he told us that she also is one of his brother's children, which make her his niece. He then informed us that she was chosen to be the next alpha for the pack. Well, I do admit. I didn't expect that. Or maybe I just didn't thought that someone as beautiful as her will be a alpha, well, if you'll ask me she fits better for a luna.

With that said, Cleo just stared back and smiled at me. 'd'you even know that I could read your mind now?' Cleo talked to me using the pack link. Well, its more of mind link from her's to mine. 'it worked now. I know you could hear me.' then I answered her 'yes, I do hear you. Wait, did you just said it worked this time? Were you the one who gave me a headache during the first day of classes?' it actually took her longer to answer me but eventually she did. 'hmm. Guilty.'

I was thinking, why on earth was she trying to use the mind link on me before when she asked the alpha if she and I may be excused. And gave some lame reason why she would like me to go with her. The alpha just stared at us then nodded. Cleo stood first then motioned me to follow her and so I did.

We were walking near the woods when we heard a howl. I wondered who it was. Because who ever it was just informed everyone not to go trough the woods. Cleo then answered my question by telling me that that was one of her cousins, patrolling the woods. But with a swift move, she pulled my hand dragging me in to the forest.

"Wait! Your cousin have just informed us not to go in to this woods. So why are we here and where are you taking me?"

"Shhh! You'll find out soon. it's just around here. There see."

"Huh? Who's that?! Wha-"

Cleo stopped me immediately by covering my mouth. I wondered why so I just gave her a questioning look. Then she motioned to tell me to keep quiet which I did because I think I already knew why she brought me with her. I tapped her shoulder then asked how did she know what was going on. But I didn't receive any reaction. She was just simply looking directly at the two figures in front us.

It was dark. So I willed my abilities to help me with seeing trough the darkness. And then, my jaw dropped when I was able to see, I saw this two people making love below the tree in the middle of the forest. The woman was lying on the ground striped off of all her clothes, while the man was on top of her kissing her from her neck down. The woman moaned and whispered the guy's name that made him moan as well. I could see their movement very clear with their moaning load in my ear.

I was so caught off guard that I blushed when I turned to see Cleo staring at my reaction. She was smiling and curious at what I was thinking. I thought, maybe she's laughing at me now. Then she suddenly pulled me to her and kissed me hard ten let me go panting.

"To tell you the truth Sky, I have always wanted to do that, since the first time I saw you at school."

"Really? Huh. That's weird, because the first time I saw you, it's as if you don't even care that there was a new girl on your class."

"Right, well I am sure you saw me staring at you."

"Wait. Are you telling me? You were that person whom I saw with glowing eyes?! That answers everything."

"Yeah. Well, guilty again. Anyways, lets get out of here before my cousin finds out that we saw them having sex."

She then pulled me again dragging me some place else. Too concerned about my sister, I told her that I'm still with Cleo and that she could just call me whenever if she already want to go home, in which she said yes. Much to my surprise we are now standing near a cliff.

"So what are we doing here this time?" I asked wondering why she brought me to this place.

"Well, I told you that I like you didn't I? And that scene over there got me feeling a little bit hotter than usual."

I was not sure on what to do. Well, it's not like this will be my first time. But gawd! This girl is just throwing her self at me. And I admit. She is very attractive.

"What are you staring there? Are you nervous? Cause you know, there is nothing to be afraid of. No one will know about this if you don't want to."

"Cleo, I am not thinking of myself, I am thinking of you and what will they say if they found out."

"Aww, how touchy. Why won't you come over here and kiss me."

With her words giving me a go signal, I walked towards her never breaking eye contact. I didn't stop until we're only inches away. She breaths me in like I'm some kind of tasty meal; I grabbed her on her sides and pulled her closer to me. She reached for my face then grab hold of my hair and she kissed me hard. I could feel her tongue pushing trough my lips so I gave her entrance. Oh how I love the taste of cherries in her lips. We didn't stop until one of us broke the kiss to take in some air.

I was to kiss her again. To continue what we've started. But I was stopped with a voice in my head. 'We're going." My sister informed me. Cleo asked if there's a problem. I told her that we need to go back because my sister wants to go home already. I was not the type who easily follows. But this time, I feel that I should listen to my sister, just for once.

On the way out of the woods, I informed my sister that I'll meet her out front in 5 minutes in which she agreed. I was walking straight following the trail that we've used earlier when Cleo tapped my back making me winch. When I turned around to face her asking if she has anything to say, she just gave me a heartwarming smile, then asked if we're still on for tomorrow. I said yes, which brighten her smile a little bit more. And then I told her that she could just text me where are we meeting and what time. She nodded and then we continued on our way.

When I reached the car that is parked out front; my sister is already there, she was with the beta, Nate. They were so close and looked so intimate that kinda felt awkward for me. Since this was the first time that I have seen my sister acted the way she is now. Plus, she have just met this guy like 2 hours ago. Since I can no longer take the scene, I decided to get their attention to me, so I pretended to cough near them to make them know I was there. My sister turned around to my side smiling broadly like there's no tomorrow. I asked her why she looks so strange all of a sudden. But she just laughed and told me that she is the way she it. With just a little change, because now she have a mate. Then she pulled Nate closer and told me all that happened while I was gone.
