ISLA I slowly blink my eyes open as the warmth of a new morning cascades over me. A familiar heaviness weighs across my hips and with a tilt of my head, I see a very peaceful Zac fast asleep behind me. His velvety lips are parted just slightly, letting his warm breath tickle the nape of my neck. A few rogue locks of his chocolate hair dangle across his uncreased forehead. I move cautiously to not wake him and sit up and glance around what I’m guessing is the master bedroom. I don’t remember coming to bed, but this room, wow.
