Gabriel?
My head turned at the speed of lightning as I looked at the man who had spoken behind me. My eyes sparkled and an unprecedented happiness surged through my being.
Without any fear in the world, I jumped up and hugged him tight “I knew you would come for me.” I said excitedly as I pressed my head on his chest. I was so excited that I forgot my surroundings and he was all that mattered.
Just as I thought, Gabriel was my genie, he would always come for me at the point of need and he was my hero. Earlier, I was so scared that I was starting to tear up. Rocco wanting to surrender his life because of me made my heart ache and I felt useless.
