AURELIA’S POV
The darkness was scary and for the first time in my life, I felt like I was resonating with death. I walked and walked, hoping to see the light again but there was none.
Nothing was around me, I was all alone, no voice, no sound, just the coldness of darkness hitting my naked body and affecting my steps. I continued walking forward, trying my best not to cry.
My feet ached and my body was sour, but I needed to continue walking nonetheless. I wanted to give up, I was exhausted and drained of strength but something was pulling me forward. I wanted to see someone again, I wanted to touch someone again, I wanted to talk to someone again and his face continued appearing in my head.
