He spoke to me. He spoke on the mind link. And I could hear.
'Alpha Benson told me to say hi. And also that he would kill you twice if life let him to.'
Those words felt like acid in my ear. He gave a howl before biting into my throat.
"Nooooo!" I sat up in my bed, screaming on top of my voice.
"No, don't hurt me. Don't hurt me. Don't kill me, please!!!" I mumbled while trying to look around.
I sat stock-still as I realized my position. I was in my room, in bed. I was safe. There was no rogue coming to kill me.
Relief washed over me. I sat back against my pillow, eyes closed and hands resting in my lap. I was taking deep breaths to calm my chest too.
It was just a dream. A bad dream. But it felt so real and what the rogue said... It sounded so real.
