“What about her?”
Mandy searched for her other friend, but couldn’t see anything other than rocks and lagoon.
“I will tell you. Get up.”
Instead of dragging herself through the sheet like Avi, Mandy just moved the sheet as she was lying on the side and wrapped the extra layer on Ben and Eito. How caring!
“Where is she?”
Mandy wiped away the drool on her cheeks and scratched her eyes for waking herself up from the sleepy body.
“Behind that mound.”
They crossed the small distance only to hear inaudible shouts. As they neared the large rock, the conversation became much clear.
“What the hell are you talking about?”
“I don’t have to explain anything to you.”
Karen’s voice did not sound like her own as it was filled with bitchy attitude, surprising both Aviana and Mandy.
