“I’m okay, Dad,” Sebastian told Kinsley over the phone. He was in the passenger seat of Theo’s car. His eyes would land on his mate from time to time as he talked to his father.
“Are you sure?” Kinsley asked skeptically. “Just the other day, Thad called me and told me you were upset about something and he apologized.”
“Wha—” Sebastian covered his phones mouth piece and faced Theo. “You guys ratted me out?”
Theo shrugged as he displayed his cheeky grin. He winked at Sebastian while the latter’s eyes were bulging over his reaction.
“I was not upset, Dad,” Sebastian denied.
