Sebastian was torn. Being in his mates arms made him feel safe, like nobody else could hurt him. He thought back to what happened hours ago and he suddenly felt unsure. He realized he may have over reacted and cried the second he heard those words from Rhian.
“Love?” Theo uttered against his mate’s ear as he sat still in front of him, caressing the side of his head.
“Maybe I was just being too sensitive,” Sebastian said, closing his eyes. Why did he let himself succumb to doubt about his presence at the palace. Granted he became part of the royal family through his mates but he was a royalty himself. Did he forget it at the heat of the moment?
