Willa 17 yrs old

"You're not my father, Dex!" I scream, slamming my bedroom door shut. Marching across my room, I kick off my boots and flop onto my king-size bed, muttering, 'Bloody Dex, who does he think he is? I'm not one of his band of merry misfits.' Staring up at my ceiling, I couldn't help but smile, remembering my brother's epic meltdown after his phone call with West. “Willa, my office now!” He snapped, heading back the way he'd come from. Rolling my eyes, I reluctantly left the table I'd been occupying. Making my way to his office door, I took it upon myself not to knock; he summoned me after all. Pushing open Dex's office door, I strode in, a wide smile plastered on my face. You rang, sir? I said, slumping down into the armchair opposite his desk. Gritting his teeth, Dex pushed himself to stand. Here we go; he's not just angry; he's raging. "It's customary to knock." He said, staring me down. "Sorry, did you demand my presence to discuss customs?" I snarked, wishing I'd fled to Demi's house when I had the chance. Demi is my other friend; he's not club-affiliated, so I don't get to see him as much as Georgie. Dex pinched the bridge of his nose; frustration etched across his face. He perched on the desk, studying me as though he were trying to c***k a code. "You hacked Byte?" Ahh, I wondered when that'd come to light. "Yes? But in my defence, I did find a thief and report it, so that kinda makes us even," I say, shrugging, as though I don't know what I did was wrong; I do. Without warning, Dex stands, slamming his hand on the desk, causing me to startle. "This isn’t a bloody joke, Wills. You hacked another club, and then I find out you, Georgie and likely Demitri have been skimming from our rivals!" he shouts, finally losing his composure. "No wonder Dad and Butch retired early to look after you; you can't even behave like a normal person for f**k-sake!" he hissed. A bit harsh, but I understood his anger. "Sorry. Next time, I'll try harder not to get caught," I replied, unable to resist a bit of sass. As soon as the words left my mouth, rage exploded from Dex. One minute his desk was a desk, and the next it was, well, not. I may have laughed, and he may have chased me out of his office frantically f'ng and blinding all the way to mum and dad's house. The sound of my phone ringing broke me free of my reverie; I reached into my pocket. Glancing at the screen, I smiled. "Did you get a bullocking too?" I asked Georgie. "Yeah. I told you we should have let them find the thief themselves, but you just had to rub the hack in Byte's face." She sounded exasperated. I laughed, because it was rich coming from her! Georgie wrote the skimming programme; I just implemented it. Sure, I broke into Mr Unhackable's system, but it was too tempting to pass up. "Sorry you got dragged into all this." "You do realise we technically got away with stealing, right?" Georgie replied, laughing despite herself. The irony wasn't lost on me. Changing the subject, I suggested, 'Fancy stirring the pot again? You know what they say? While the cats are away, the mice shall play." I half expected her to refuse, since our parents were away doing God only knows what. "Yeah, sure. Inferno?" she asked, as though there were anywhere else I'd go on a Friday night to piss off my brother. "Yep", I say, popping the P, "I already texted Demitri; he'll pick us up", I confirmed before swiftly changing the subject to clothes. Inferno As my body moves to the music, bathed in ambient lighting, strong hands grip my waist, sending shivers down my spine. I look up to see Bryce, Demitri's cousin on his mum's side, smiling down at me. "Hey, stranger," I greeted, my voice taking on a flirtatious note. Bryce leaned forward and pressed a gentle kiss to my forehead. "Where are the others?" Bryce asked, scanning the crowded dance floor. "They've gone back to the V.I.P. room. I wanted to dance," I replied, spinning round so my back pressed flush against his chest. Thank God I wore his to compensate for our height difference. As our bodies sway seductively to the rhythm of the sultry music, Bryce's grip tightens and my head tips back slightly. Just as I'm about to go in for a kiss, I catch sight of West out of the corner of my eye. Turning in Bryce's arms, I peer over his shoulder, my eyes instantly locking with West's. Smirking, I kiss and nibble Bryce's neck, and as expected, he pulls me closer, grinding into me. My head tilts back, and instead of his lips on my neck, I feel nothing; he's gone and staring back at me is West. f**k.
