"Oh my freaking gosh! I need to hear it again. Are you both a couple now?" Patty's voice resounded in the quiet library causing several people to turn their heads in a glare. Evie, Lislie, and I exchanged glances before chuckling softly.
"Have you forgotten that we are in a library, Pat?" Evie asked amidst silent chuckles.
Patty simply ducked her head and batted her eyelashes.
"I guess she's overwhelmed with the news of the male and female sensations we have in UCLA finally discovering that they were meant to be together," Lislie said, inspecting her newly painted nail beds. She always painted her nails whenever a guy indicated interest in her.
"Exaggeration much," I said with a sneer. "Oh! But," I reared my head backward, giving her a knowing look. "Who's the new guy?"
