A loud knock sounded downstairs as I scanned my wardrobe, contemplating whether to go all girly tonight or not. The knock came again and I abandoned my open wardrobe and rushed out of the room. I knew who it was already, but what I didn't understand was why she was here so early.
I glanced at my phone as I ascended the last stair, heading towards the door. It was still 6 pm and the birthday party was slated to kick off by 8 pm.
