Eleven months later “You four shift, two each way. Keep on either side of the building as we approach head on.” Nods from the four other guards who were currently with Calix and me. They quickly did as he said, turning into their wolf forms and slipping away into the night. Calix looks at me, his blue eyes flicking over my face. “You are ready for this?” He asks, looking a bit concerned. I nod, keeping my face even. “Of course.” And I start walking towards the one-story, suburban house.
