Updated Susie’s P.O.V I looked around the bedroom at everything that I would be leaving behind and there really wasn’t that much in here. My bed, a dresser and a few clothes, but apart from that there was nothing here that was really mine. I grabbed the money that Alpha Billy had promised me and I instantly cringed at it. This money wasn’t payment for the meal I had cooked, it was payment for after the meal was finished and they would come to me, but it wouldn’t matter if I refused or not. I stuffed the envelope of money into my pocket and then went over to the window, opening it up and climbing out of it. I jumped down from there and then rushed towards the woods. I was searching everywhere and there were many fallen trees, but there was no one there waiting for me, so I kept running.
