Lucius’s POV
“See you soon.” I held Grace close to me while she swayed her body sensually against me. She doesn’t know what effect she has.
Her light scars made me frown for a fraction of second but she tiptoed and pecked on my cheek.
“Surely.” She said softly and my heart skipped a beat then.
Reluctantly, I walked out of the house to step inside the chilly wind. Lifting my head up, taking a sharp breath, I was on my way to the church—my calling.
The streets were still silent with barely a vehicle passing by. People working out of the city were rushing early else than that, the city was extremely silent.
