Grace’s POV With my head hung low, I walked inside the police station and started slipping in depression. Marvin has let go of my hand but that didn’t lift the burden of my handcuffs which pinned me behind. With only my feet in focus, I made a beeline to where Marvin’s shadow led me. He offered me a chair and I slumped on it. “Alright, young lady so where should we begin with?” Marvin took his seat and started clearing the clatter left on his desk. I just humped in fatigue. He sighed, crossed his arms and spoke with clarity. “This won’t help you or me. We need to be talking about the matter or you’d be going straight behind the bars as the lady is too adamant to see you there.
