The next morning, Adonis approached a sleeping Venus. He realised that he might have said too much to her the other day. Since he was prideful in his ways, he found it heard to apologise. Therefore, he just held her in his arms and asked, “Why do you seem to be so displeased in the morning itself?”  She didn’t respond, but kept staring out of the window.
