CHAPTER 6

Valencia POV

Valencia found herself looking forward to school, she didn't even want to admit that it might

be because of a certain boy. What she was looking forward to was lunch, he had said he will

bring something for both of them, Valencia didn't know what to wear, she had to play it

cool, or she might come out as desperate. She found herself skipping breakfast, if this is how

it feels just to have lunch with him, she wondered how it was going to be like to kiss him. As,

if he will ever kiss a girl like her. “Want to share what that smile is all about?” “The food yes

most definitely the food, you know how much I appreciate the food you make for me.” She

was smiling like a crazy woman, hoping to sell the story. As usual Carly texted that she was

outside, yeap another problem. Valencia haven’t been able to build up a good story about

her whereabouts of yesterday during lunch."That smells so good, give me that. So, you want to tell me something?" "No, what am I supposed to tell you?" "I don't know, like where were you during lunch yesterday?" and here it is she had hoped her friend wouldn't ask but Valencia was wrong she wanted to know. "I was at the library, math is not my strongest point, so I'm trying to work extra hardso that I get that scholarship." She pretended to be sad like all of this was really heavy on her. "Girl you will get that scholarship and become an animal doctor, what do they call them again.?" "They are called veterinarian, how many times do I have to tell you." She was hoping to change the topic. By the time they arrived at school it was almost time for the first class to begin, "Morning Valencia." " f**k!! Where did you come from, you nearly gave me a heart attack Max." she was smiling like a crazy woman again for the second time today. "I saw you so, I thought we could walk together to class, since well we are going to the same direction." Their conversation was interrupted by someone clearing they throat. She had forgotten about her friend who has probably listening this whole time." oh, Carly meet my classmate Neymax, and meet my best friend Carly." " Well it's really an honor to meet you Carly, shall we." How can she say no to that she looked at her friend who whispered w***e at her, and she showed her the middle finger. Classes went smoothly maybe because a certain someone was by her side. It was lunch break and there were walking towards the class door when Carly came through, s**t this isn't good. "There you are, okay come I'm dragging you to lunch even if is the last thing I do, can you believe she didn't have lunch yesterday all in the name of studying?" She was now talking to Neymax who seemed to be having a good time about all of this." No, she didn't, come let's go and feed her. "I like you already." only if she knew where she really was yesterday, she wouldn't like him that much. It dawned on her that she didn't bring lunch and she always does. "Lunch is on me ladies." He was smiling at her, trying to it say I got your back.

Neymax POV

Neymax didn't even for one moment liked what was happening now, but the was nothing

he could do about it. At least he still got to spend some time with her. He looked at his

packmates and shock was written all over their faces. Well that can wait. "So, Carly I was

hoping that you wouldn't mind me asking, but can I drive Valencia home today?" "Will I

mind oh hell no I don't mind if you like you can drop her off every day till school ends."

"Carly! I thought you were supposed to be my best friend?" "I am honey, that's why I'm

doing all this for you, from now on, don't come near my car after school or I will call the

police and I'm not joking Vali." Neymax couldn't help it but just laugh, he really liked this

friend. "Well that is settled, do you want me to pick her up I don't mind at all." "Nah, you

take the after school then I will do morning." "Good plan." "You guys do know I'm right here

and I did not agree to any of this." "We went asking you dear friend of mine is already

done." Neymax couldn't wait for that alone time in the car, can it be after school already.

Despite his wishes end of school came slowly but it has finally arrived. Along the drive his

girl was quiet only spoke when giving directions, not that he didn't know where he was

going but he had to pretend that he knew nothing at all. "This is my stop you really didn't

have to do this but thank you." Neymax resisted the urge to kiss her. "I really enjoy having

you around Valencia, so for me this is a bonus please allow me to do this every day." "Won't

you get tired? We already have that lunch thing happening." "Which is not a guarantee that

it will happen every day, but this is for sure." "okay, but if you can't drop me off please let

me know." she opened the door to get out and Neymax held her other hand and kissed it,

electricity ran through his body. He looked at her and he could tell she felt something. "Have

a great evening, I'm already missing you." with that he drove home as a happy werewolf.

That happiness was short lived when he arrived at the pack and his sister was waiting. "Hey

sis." "Don't hey me Neymax, what was that all about, why didn't you tell us that you were

changing route today so we can follow." "Well now you know and is going to be an everyday

thing." with that being said he went straight to his room.
