Chapter 34 [Eleanor] Valerio and I walked into the hotel and I could not help but gawk and feel slightly out of place. “What was the name of this place again?”, I asked Valerio. “Hotel Plaza Athenee.”, he responded as he was reaching the reception. I stayed a few steps behind him and researched the space. Right above me was an enormous glass chandelier with about a dozen candles. The candle light painted beautiful circles on the shiny cream colored marble floor. Tall pillars were encompassing the lobby and bouquets of fresh flowers were pinned to each pillar in metal casings. On the ceiling there were hidden lights that encompassed the whole lobby in a circle and gave it a warm cozy glow.
