2011 Words

Samson looked around at the frustrating topography of rolling hills and mountains that was modeled on his desk top, depicting some unfamiliar land. His military vision even captured units maneuvering through those hills and valley around the placid square lake of screen at their core. His mind saw the fighting and maneuvering to gain advantage over one another in the hills and key terrain that paperwork offered. Maneuvers and attacking thrusts played through until a new flurry of messages crashed into his screen distracting him from his daydream and drawing a groan. He mashed his thumb to them and dragged the clump of messages forward. Not one of them was interesting or something he wanted to deal with. Five of them were irritatingly involved and would require attention to untangle.
