"Such a beautiful woman," the French man that had gotten the ring said as his chauffeur opened the car door of the sleek black SUV.
The ring was with him. He'd transferred about three million dollars for the ring and by the looks in his eyes, I was absolutely sure he planned on doing whatever he wanted to my body.
"Thank you," I said with a fake sultry smile as I pulled my trench coat tighter around me and slipped into the car.
Now that I was with him, all I could think about was how stupid I had reacted. This was going to raise a lot of questions.
I wondered what Duncan was thinking now.
He'd probably be as confused as I was.
My phone vibrated as the car moved.
It was Duncan calling. I silenced the call.
I had to focus on stealing that ring back but how?
