Saturday morning
Bianca made pancakes, bacon, eggs, and home fries for Julio’s first breakfast. The Mates called and said they had arranged for food to be brought into Zachary’s for Julio’s second breakfast.
Etienne was definitely growly. Julio chuckled. Before becoming a Mate, he would have called him grumpy.
“Are the cubicles separated by walls at Zachary’s?” Etienne asked sharply.
“Walls, but with open space on top in case anyone needs to call for help.” Julio enjoyed Etienne’s jealousy. No one had ever been jealous of his time before.
