Epilogue
The next evening, 6 P.M. to midnight
The day dragged on. Etienne refused to see Julio at all today. He told him that given a flat surface, even the floor, he would take him, even if they had an audience. So, the Mates elected to stay together and keep Julio company, and Julio expected that the Alphas were doing the same for Etienne.
At six, Julio and the Mates had their dinner in the family breakfast room. Bianca served two legs of lamb in a port wine reduction, potatoes, and four kinds of vegetable sides including the green beans and bacon that Julio liked so much. For dessert, they ate mini chocolate volcanos with whipped and ice cream.
