Chapter 19

Siera finished her meal, and out of the corner of her eye, she saw that there was a pack of cigarettes in Jason's pocket. "Do you smoke?" asked Siera, looking at the cigarette butt, and she was shocked. Jason saw the change in Siera's face, and he became so uneasy. What did this woman already know? Jason asked himself. It seemed that Siera knew something. Siera remembered Diego's words, and she immediately said with a laugh, “Haha… I thought you weren't smoking anymore. I hope you don't smoke anymore." Jason is not an i***t; in his lectures, he studied human psychology to understand human behavior. But he covered it up if he knew something had changed in Siera. The Siera, he knew, didn't want to see if he was going to smoke or not. "Yes, I will stop smoking," and Jason deliberately placed the cigarette pack on the dining table, allowing Siera to know the brand of cigarettes. Still, he realized that Siera did not react, so he didn't think further about Siera but just kept it in his mind. "Tomorrow, I might as well take a day off," Jason said calmly. He stuck out his leg. He leaned back against the chair. Siera blinked her eyes twice. Even though tomorrow he has made an appointment with Diego. Siera scratched her hair and said quickly. "I don't think it's necessary. You can save your leave for urgent circumstances. I have another appointment tomorrow with my friend." Sierra smiled fakely. In her mind, she had to quickly look for a clue that could tell her the extent of her relationship with Jason. Jason nodded his head. "Okay, I thought I could go with you, but you can't tomorrow either." Both laughed. It was raining hard outside the restaurant, and Jason offered to let them go home together. "Come on, come home with me." Sierra agreed. "Yeah, let's go home together." Siera was going home with Jason. They go to the same house. His father-in-law's house, the Lee family's house. When they were getting ready to go home, they met a woman. The woman was sexy, and her clothes showed off her prominent body parts. "Hey, aren't you Siera, Jet Lee's wife, who killed Grandpa Lee," the beautiful woman said so ultimately that Siera grimaced. "What did you say?" Siera asked with a shudder. She had never met this woman, but a horror came over her. The previous owner of Siera's body did not like this woman. There was an image of this woman holding Reynold's hand in her memory. Was this woman Reynolds lover? Siera asked herself, and she seemed to have found the answer after seeing Reynold coming up to her and Jason. “Wow! This is an amazing surprise! With my own eyes, I saw my brother having an affair with my sister-in-law.” Reynold's voice sounded so disgusting that Siera, at that moment, wanted to punch the man in front of her. Sierra clenched her fists. Jason walked over to his brother. “Hey, are you still in touch with this woman? In how many days will you change your partner?” Jason's quip and the sarcastic question immediately made Reynold's face sour. He clenched his fists and looked like he wanted to beat his brother up. It wasn't Reynold who was angry, but the ignorant woman who was angry. She walked forward and was about to slap Jason in the face, but Siera immediately grabbed the woman's hand and threw it away. "An arrogant woman like you, shouldn't touch my brother!" Then Jason immediately turned to Siera. “If we have nothing to talk about, let's leave this place immediately. I can't stand living with a wolf." When Jason mentioned the word wolf, he looked at Reynolds intently. Siera could feel the thick aura of hostility that Reynolds was throwing at Jason. Then Siera immediately left the room with Jason, but it seems the sexy woman still hasn't accepted her defeat; she immediately ran towards Siera and grabbed Siera's hair violently so that Siera fell backward. Bruck! Siera fell, and it hit her butt. "Aaaahhh!" she screamed; she held her ass because at that moment, she couldn't get up; it hurt so bad. “Next time, watch your mouth! You are just a w***e! You are really not ashamed, already have a husband, but still looking for a man to date! Even dating your own brother-in-law! What a shame!” The woman's voice echoed throughout the room, much to Siera's embarrassment. Rumors then spread throughout the room, and people recognized that the woman was an artist who had not been on television for a long time. “Hey, look! Isn't that Alia Mayori!" The others responded, “Yes, that's right! She is Alia Mayori! I just saw her now, I thought she was so pretty, but she's not pretty at all!” Some people laughed at someone saying that Alia Mayori wasn't pretty. "It must be because of the camera effect, so she looks amazing, too bad, her face turns out to be bad." Then people laughed at her. "Yes, she is an artist who has not sold," another exclaimed. Both Reynold and Alia Mayori heard the narratives of the people around them, and the two of them became utterly embarrassed. With people openly accusing Alia Mayori of being an out-of-scale artist, Reynold sensed that he had lost his appetite, and he immediately said to the woman he was dating, "You'd better take a taxi home!" Reynold walked away, leaving Alia alone in that place. Alia's face was so embarrassed. She looks so bad. Reynold left her while people looked at her face and pointed at the woman. Alia held her face, and she asked, “Is my face that ugly? Does my lipstick not match the dress I'm wearing? Am I that ugly?” The thing she was most afraid of was that the public didn't like her anymore, and she was terrified even though she was already dressed up and had chosen such beautiful clothes. Her heart was racing, and she felt shame all over her body. She ran nervously because people said that she was so bad, and it turned out that someone had deliberately stuck her leg out, causing Alia Mayori to fall. Her face hit the cold, rough floor beneath her. "She deserves it," another confirmed. "Yes, she is indeed a disgraceful woman." Meanwhile, Jason reached out his hand to help Siera up. “Let's leave this restaurant. Just let her suffer the consequences." Siera still felt the pain in her hair and buttocks, but Siera was sure that the pain wasn't worth the pain Alia Mayori was feeling right now. She must be so embarrassed right now.
