As all the students made their way back to their hostels, Michael lingered a bit, looking for the perfect excuse to give Jadis. He knew the boy would notice something was off if he said he was going to meet Zariel. When they came to the corner of the principal's office, he excused himself telling Jadis that he had to collect his course outline from the principal.
