He was sitting still and paying attention. Even though it was my first time meeting him, I already think he will be a great leader, even better than his father.

He is naturally threatening and in charge, which is something that only people with alpha blood can do without trying. It's making me feel weird.

When I tried to look his way, I saw that he was just staring at me and not blinking.

It was like I would disappear as soon as he could no longer see me. When his dad cleared his throat, he turned his attention to him right away.

I took another swallow before turning my attention to the alpha. Listen up, son. I want you to meet Melina and Kayla, her daughter.

It almost seemed like a tease. Making fun of me for my situation. I looked away and bit my bottom lip. Alpha said, "By the way, before we forgot to say..." We looked back at him again.

He smiled and gave my mum a loving squeeze on the hand.Melina is pregnant. "You two are going to be older siblings." I'm not sure what shocks me more.

Is it about the fact that we'll be moving in with the new family, meeting my mate, who is also my step-brother, or the fact that my mom is pregnant with the Alpha's baby?

At the end of dinner, my mom, Alpha, and Lucian all talked to each other. I was quiet, and I think my mom knew why; that's why she didn't push me to talk.

I think she told her new partner about what was going on with me and my ex-boyfriend.

"Guys, I'll show you around the pack tomorrow. Also, my men will pick up your stuff at your house tomorrow. Kayla, if you want to check it out for yourself, Lucian will be with you. All right, Lucian?"

"No problem, father.""That's great, then. Thank you to everyone who helped. Then let's call it a night." Everyone got up from their seat. Alpha Gael grabbed my mum by the waist and smiled at us like a dad. "We're going to our bedroom." I want you to send Kayla to her new room, Lucian. "I will."

They gave each other nods, and my mum waved her hand at us. Her eyes were sparkling with happiness and fun. I just shook my head.

Yes, she did plan this well. I let out a long sigh when they're finally out of sight. Thank goodness, this night was so crazy. "Let me show you to your room." "Come with me." It made me jump right where I was when I heard his voice.

The sound was nice to to my ears, and it made my wolf think of some bad things. Oh my God. I saw that Lucian was a lot taller than me.

He's about the same height as his father, which is about 6'4". Hey, I'm already pretty tall at 5'8", but looking up at him hurts my neck. We climbed up the big stairs.

The house is so big that I might get lost if I come here by myself. As we walked, there was an awkward silence between us. Or was it just me that felt uncomfortable? Something seems like it could happen at any time.

"This is going to be your room." He said,I let out a gasp when I almost hit his back. I was thinking about other things and didn't notice when he stopped. I said, "Okay," in a weak voice. A low, scary growl came out of his throat. I was scared and a little excited at the same time. It must be because we're close. He said under his breath, "You're mine," and looked at me with anger and desire at the same time.

He looks like a hunter who is ready to catch his prey. Like he was about to eat me right now. "W-What..." I stuttered and couldn't make a word. My heart beat was so loud that I couldn't hear a thing.

He said, "Mate." "You're my mate." As I took a step backwards, my lips were shaking. He grabbed my arm and pushed me close to him hard. I let out a gasp of surprise."Mine," he said in my ear, which made my heart race and my legs weaken.

His smell was enticing and made me feel like it belonged around me. He wanted me to smell like him so that any other male wolf would stay away because I was his.

All of a sudden, his lips touched mine. I have no idea what happened, but I kissed him back right away as if I had been wanting it my whole life and now that I had a taste of it, I was hooked.

The heat spread all over my body. My wolf purred, and our tie makes us feel even closer than we are now. I could feel sparks going up from the tips of my fingers to the base of my spine.

Between my legs, heat built up. A soft moan came out of my mouth. I didn't know we were in the room until I felt the soft mattress on my back. I lost my mind because Lucian was so damn good at what he was doing.

6I forgot everything when he kissed me. After his lips left mine, they went to my jaw and neck. It was nipped and sucked on, which was bound to leave some achy spots. I had to let out a long moan.

My body was on fire from how good it was. My body did something I never thought it would do. I've never felt this way before. Not even to my ex-boyfriend of many years. It felt like something new and different.

It changes my body in ways I never thought possible. The thrill, the joy, and the fear. It was a wild range of feelings. It was at that moment that I felt two sharp things against my skin. He said, "Mine..." again.

When I saw what he was going to do, my eyes almost popped out of their socket.I pushed him away right away. A growl of anger came out of his throat. I quickly got myself together.

I get up and wrapping my arms around myself i said "W-What are you doing?" I ask. My voice was shaking as I spoke. I was a fool. I swear to God. I was really stupid! I almost got in trouble when I let a stranger touch me.

He's still a stranger to me, even though I knew who he was. We shouldn't have done what we did just now. He furrowed his eyes and clenched his jaw.

He looked at her with eyes that showed anger and frustration. I shook my head, and tears started to form in the corner of my eyes.

I had a sudden realisation that made me feel terrible. I felt like I had done something wrong. "W-We... we shouldn't be doing this..." I told him. He's going to be my step-brother because our parents are getting married soon.

"Sorry,please leave me alone."i said. His eyes showed pain. He opened his mouth to talk, but nothing came out. One terrible thing that could happen to a werewolf like us through the bond is being rejected or turned down.

I also understand that by ne not letting him touch me on our supposed first night together, it could hurt his pride as a dominant alpha.I looked away and bit my bottom lip. In pain, my heart was getting tight. "I do not want you... Leave now." His throat let out a deep growl.

From the corner of my eye, I saw that he got stiff. I didn't want to look at him. I'm aware that what I did was bad for him.

I'm not completely turning him down, but I was close to doing so. It was a partial rejection, but not enough to break the bond between us. Before he left the room, the last thing I heard him say was "Damn it."

All night long, I couldn't stop thinking about him. I should not have pushed him away. I should not have been mean to him. I tried, but it was too late. The last thing I remember is the pain in my stomach and the howling of my inner wolf.

At that point, I knew he had found a she-wolf to spend the night with. I'm not sure what breaks my heart more. Whether it's the truth that my boyfriend of two years found his true love and left me for her, or the truth that I've also found my true love, but he cheated on me right after we met. I couldn't sleep because my mind and heart were a mess. I was worn out by the end of the night. My mom was so scared of the dark lines under my eyes that she wanted to run away. I grew up in that way because my mom was a single parent and didn't have a stable home. So it doesn't bother me to sleep at someone else's house. I'm this way for different reasons "Don't worry, mom. "I'm fine."

Mum sighed and ran her hand through my hair, which was a mess. "Did you think about him again?" I told you not to worry about that dog. Kayla, you're still young. You are almost sixteen. It was just a crush, a puppy love.

There was no word from me other than a nod. And I know that this chat will not end if I argue with her that I wasn't really thinking about my ex.

I finally chose to take my mom's car and drive back to our house. There's something about our house that makes me feel at ease and warm.

It was possibly because I was used to living alone with my mother and thought of it as home whenever I came back from somewhere else.Our stuff had already been taken to the Alpha house. That was so fast, it was like a blur.

One minute, I was happy living here with her. The next second, my mom and I were already packing up and leaving.As I sat down on my soft room bed, I let out a sigh. Even though I didn't sleep here for one night, I missed this room.

This is something I will miss. When I think about moving on to somewhere else after this house, it makes me miss this one. I had no idea I was crying.
