“We are cornered, head to the forest,” Alex instructed Ray after using his enhanced senses to track them. He could hear engines of both bikes and cars from behind and also from the front.
“He asked for help? How cowardly can he be?” Ray picked a safe spot and parked his motorbike before they both walked forward to meet Douglas and the rest.
“Since when did you become so confident to think you can beat me?” Douglas stood wielding a baseball bat. Not only him, but about seven more guys also held baseball bats.
“Since when I whooped three of your asses the last time in seconds,” Alex’s words angered them.
“Come get your ass kicked again and let’s get this over with!” Ray roared as if he was actually going to beat the majority of them. Instead, he pushed Alex forward and moved back.
