Once I cut the ties, I felt everything snap. The links shut off, and I felt nice. But there was a piece of me gone, and it's never gonna come back.
My life as I know it is gonna end, imma be a whole new person. But I'm a homeless rogue.
I got money though. Lots of it. I worked 4 jobs, not including serving the alpha. I was a part time Walmart worker, I make jewelry, I worked at a diner, and I took care of animals.
So, I'm loaded. My parents figured that out one day, and tried to steal my things, but I stopped it real fast. I basically told them that if they stole my money, I would steal their lives. They never talked about it again. And it wasn't an empty threat. I tyed them to the back of a chair, and let the spirits take control.
But anyway, I'm in the city and I go to an inn. It's really comfy and cozy. I just feel like I can make a home out of this place, so I ask for a room. But instead, the boy on the front counter gave me his name.
"Hi, I'm Nick. Are you new here? Because me and my mate Nessa are looking for a roommate, and you look like a nice werewolf. Of course you don't have to. I mean it should be-"
"That sounds nice, thank you" I said, making his expression go from worried to excited.
"Really?" He asked.
"Yea, it sounds nice."
"Oh my goddess this is amazing! Thank you, thank you, thank you!" He said, pulling out his phone and calling a contact by the name of Nessy-boo❤❤.
"Hey Ness, I found a roommate. Yea it's a girl with bright violet eyes, and like this really odd colored hair. Yea, she has long hair. I don't know, hold on." He looks over to me, "Hey if you come, is Nessa aloud to play with your hair?" I just shrugged.
"Yea she doesn't care. Yea okay, love you too. Bye." He ended the call.
"Oh gosh, thank you. Um, my shift should be over soon, I will give you a room for now, on the house. And then I'll come get you, okay?"
"Yea sure." I say, and he hands me a key.
"Welcome to the Moonfly in, enjoy your stay." He said handing me a key.
I walked to my room, number 8, and got out the book I bought about spirits. I have to learn about them before I control them. But then, while I was reading, i notice something.
You can't read a book, or read anything for that matter, without that little voice inside your head.
And that's what I thought about for the rest of the time.
