"Don't answer it! I whisper yelled to Jasmine while running to enter my bathroom to lock myself inside.
"Expecting me to ignore it is unreasonable. Their main priority is you. I don't want to be the target of their rage because they are here to make sure that the mother of their unborn child is safe and healthy! You made a mistake, so face your mistake head on!" I was so taken aback by her statements that I instantly left the bedroom.
"Would you really throw me like that under the bus? I mistook you for being my sister. You know, having attended the conference would have been a good addition to my portfolio." As soon as I heard further banging on the door, I yelled at her in a hushed voice.
