After the announcement of Fairy Tail participating in the Grand Magic Games, Lucy looked down at her knees and smiled before kicking her legs to help her get off her seat. Wiping away any dust that may have gotten onto her where she scanned the guildhall, she grinned when she saw the person that she wanted to work together with. "Wendy, would you like to be my partner this year?" Lucy asked as she jogged over to Wendy who was sitting at the bar on the other side.
Taking a seat next to Wendy while nodding her head to Mirajane as a sign of thanks for the drink, she looked over to Wendy hopefully. "Sure thing Lucy-san! But... We're not going to Tenrou Island so teaming up isn't necessary," Wendy stated where the blonde pouted.
"Don't be a party pooper, Wendy!"
