13: A Disney prince for a bodyguard

*Zayn*
"Thank you for doing this. I know you rarely have time off". I tell Flynn as I pick him up at the airport. He has come to spend his vacation with us, so Kitty won't have to be alone.
He just smiles and leans back in the passenger seat, trying to fit those long legs. Kitty was the last passenger, so the seat has been pushed forward. Flynn gives up and reaches down to slide the seat back. "No problem, from what you said about the house it is a great place to have a holiday".
"Well it is.. but Flynn you need to know that her ex Tyler, he could be dangerous". I tell him, as we pull into traffic. "He tried choking her, and I am sure he would have killed her if I hadn't stopped him. He tried stabbing me too. He simply snapped".
Flynn shakes his head. "Well he should be locked up somewhere then. You couldn't get her to press charges ?"
"Nope". I say, biting my lip. We had a discussion about it just this morning. "She just wants him out of her life, but I am sure he sees things differently".
Flynn nods. "I totally understand why you won't leave her alone then. Any special precautions I should take ?"
"The house has alarms on all windows and doors. And I hope he is chicken enough that if he tries getting in and sees you there he will flee. But be prepared for a fight just in case". I tell him. I know Flynn is very capable of handling himself.
He smiles at me. "But believe me, I am so happy for you man, finally you got your girl. I have been listening to you moping about her since.. well for as long as I have known you but I never met her. I told you to just go for it right ?"
"Yeah you did". I say. "You also called me a bloody i***t and refused to come to my wedding, if I remember right. But I wasn't moping".
"And you don't have an accent either right ?" He says grinning. "Oh believe me you were moping. And yeah I refused to be at that travesty, good thing it never happened. I told you all it would do was leave you even more heartbroken".
I sigh. "And you were right, as always you were right Flynn. But Kitty.. you are going to love her. She is just.. she is so amazing, the best. I still can't believe she actually wants me".
"Oh no one gets that part Zayn, but I am still happy for you. And this thing with her ex, I am sure it will work out". He says, sending me a big grin.
I make a face. "Don't get too sassy with me. I mean out of you and me, who is it who has a beautiful girlfriend and who is still single ?"
"Well that would be me. But contrary to you I am okay with it". He says. But I know that he dreams of finding the right woman, the one that makes all the others don't matter a bit.
We stop outside the house and I hurry inside. Hating that I left her alone for almost an hour to pick up Flynn. But she had insisted. "Kitty ? Where are you ?"
*Persephone*
"Right here babe". I say walking into the hallway, smiling when I see him. "Don't be such a worry hen. No one has abducted me".
He comes to grab me, lifting me up and planting a big kiss on my lips. "Don't even joke with something like that Kitty. But come here and say hello to Flynn, I promise he is much nicer than he looks".
Uhh I admit I am a tad nervous. I had told him he was absolutely insane having called Flynn Hartman to come be my personal bodyguard. I mean, living TV’s own super agent here seems kind of crazy.
"Flynn this is my beautiful Persephone, or as I call her Kitty". He introduces me to the tall handsome man. "Kitty, this is the one and only Flynn".
He sends me one of those absolutely gorgeous smiles and then gives me a soft hug. "Hello there Kitty, such a pleasure to meet you finally".
"Thank you Flynn, and a pleasure meeting you too". I say, enjoying his hug. Just like Zayn he has a way of hugging that is just something else.
I hear tiny feet running and then a squeal from my daughter. "Zayn..". Before she jumps into his arms, being twirled around with screams of happiness.
When he stops, she kisses him on the cheek. Then she looks at Flynn with her eyes narrowed a bit. "Who are you ? Are you a superhero too ?"
"Actually he is, a real disney prince even". Zayn says grinning. "Can't you see that it is prince Levi ? Or didn't he get the nose right ?"
She looks at Flynn, then she lifts her finger touching his nose. "Not Prince, he is the king now.. marrying his princess made him a king”.
"You are totally right my dear". Flynn says, trying not to laugh. "King Levi at your service". She smiles at him and Flynn takes her hand, giving it a small kiss. "And you must be the beautiful and smart princess Athena. I have heard so much about you".
"I am". She says smiling even brighter. Then she leans in to whisper in Zayn's ear, making him chuckle and cast a glance at me, then at Flynn.
"She says she likes you more like this, when you are not fighting dragons and that you are much nicer and prettier in person". Zayn says, making my daughter hide her face in his shoulder. And both me and Flynn laugh.
