Twin Alphas

Chapter 2

***Two days before***

I had taken Luna Iris's advice and decided to treat myself for my soon-to-be birthday. I went to get my hair, make-up, and nails done as well as get a couple of new outfits. As I was walking out the door, Vallen smiled at me and Theo winked.

"What" I asked, staring at them.

"Nothing." Vallen said, "Make sure to buy something cute to wear for our birthday." Theo chimed in.

I rolled my eyes and sighed as I walked out the door.

I could hear the boys laughing.

I walked towards the town, smiling to myself, until I heard another pair of footsteps. Granted, I was only an Omega, the higher ranks always tried to breed the strongest of Omegas. I smelled the scent and it wasn't familiar.

A snarl erupted from the trees. I couldn't tell where it was coming from. Since I had no wolf, I couldn't outrun this stranger. The best thing I could do, was reach into my purse and grab my whistle, which would alert the Alphas, since it was one only they could hear.

The stranger stalked toward me with a wicked grin. "That stupid whistle won't help you. No one can hear it." he smiled devilishly.

I backed up into a tree as the stranger came closer, fear erupting from my body. He looked up, his attention turning from me as two giant wolves appeared in front of me. Vallen, the pure black wolf with bright blue eyes, and Theo, a sandy brown with matching bright blue eyes, stared down this stranger, growling and snarling at him.

Even though they were here to protect me, I couldn't help but feel fear still. The stranger must've done something to piss off Theo because the next thing I knew, his wolf flew at the man, barking and snapping at the man. Vallen came to stand beside me, his body wrapped around me while his brother fought the stranger.

I buried my face in Vallen's fur, fear still strong.

The stranger left and Theo came over to me and Vallen to see if I was fine. He whined, and nudged me with his giant head. I hugged his enormous head in appreciation for protecting me.

They refused to leave my side after that. I continued to walk to town as my two Alphas walked beside me, escorting me to town safely.

We finally get there and I tell them that I'm gonna do some shopping. They both nodded their heads and lay down outside the shops, waiting for me.

After about an hour of shopping, I was finally done. I walked out with a few bags and the boys perked up. "are you guys ready to go?" I asked.

They looked at me and nodded.

We started walking back to the house. Both of them on either side of me, guarding me.

It was almost dark when we got back. I looked at them before walking into the house.

"Thank you." I nodded at them before walking in to leave them so they could shift back.

A few moments later, they knocked on my door, "It's open!" I hollered from the bathroom. I heard the door open then close. I was still in the bathroom, putting on one of the dresses I had bought. It was a knee-length summer dress that was deep purple with black designs on it.

I walked out of the bathroom and both the boys looked at me, smiling.

"You look beautiful," Vallen commented.

"Absolutely stunning Ivory." chimed in Theo.

I blushed and tried to hide my thin face with my long dark hair. It didn't work. Vallen stood up quickly and tucked my hair behind my ear. This made me blush even more.

"You should never hide your face, it's too pretty to be hidden." he gently gripped my chin so I could look at him. He smiled and, oh man, it was infectious. I couldn't help but smile back.

His hand caressed my face and I couldn't help but lean into it. He pulled me in for a hug, to which Theo stood up to join us. Vallen cradled me to his chest while Theo hugged me from behind. The comfort was amazing.

I could stay there with them hugging me forever. It made me feel safe and brought me immense comfort since I lost my parents.

I buried my face in his chest. Hoping I could just hide there forever.
