Chapter 13 Wednesday morning, Finn had to go in to work. “I don’t have a choice,” he told Luke. “Not if I want to keep my job. I have too many cases I’m handling. So make yourself at home. Feel free to take Tae for walks.” He grinned, hugging Luke. “He won’t let you get lost, not matter how hard you try.” Luke rolled his eyes. “I think I can find my way back. It’s not like there’s anywhere I want to go.” Finn gave him his spare house key, and much to Luke’s surprise, told him the security code. Then, after reminding him to lock up and arm the security box if he left, kissed him quickly and took off. “Now what do I do, Tae?” Luke asked the dog. “Study, I guess.
