Chapter 11

Jace's POV Cont.

“My apologizes, my Goddesses.” I say looking down at the ground. As I look down I hear my men drop to one knee as well and then I hear heels click towards me till they stop and I can see them below me.

"Raise Jace, thank you for coming to my call. We need your help in defeating your Uncle-" I flinch as Anya gasps.

"Valentine is your Uncle!?" She asks looking at me confused. I give a small nod and look back at Hecate. My gaze falling on Circe as I stand up along with my friends.

"My coven and I have come to help you defeat Valentine and the Titans. Your will is our command." I say as Anastasia comes to the side of us.

"Circe, will you show our guests to their rooms inside?" Anastasia asks. Circe nods not removing her eyes from me as I stare at her. I look over at Anastasia.

"Anya, may we speak please before I am shown my room?" I ask looking between Circe and Anastasia. Anastasia nods and Circe walks the rest of the coven into the house.

Anastasia's POV

"Yes, Jace." I nod and stand on the porch as everyone walked inside. Deimos looks at me and I nod at him telling him to go in the house. "What can I do for you Jace?"

"Shortly after we met you told me that shifter's get mates. What did that feel like?" Jace asks watching the front door.

"Jace, your not a shifter. Why are you asking?" I say following his gaze to the front door. "After I told you what did you feel?" Jace looks at me after what feels like a minute.

"What didn't I feel. Love, protective, I would have killed anyone for you." Jace says looking at me.

"And your asking me about this why?" I ask with a small smile having an idea as to why.

"I am not a shifter but could I get a mate? I know you were but I don't know I'm confused." He says looking away confused. I think back to a few months after we parted ways. How I went to Hecate and asked that Jace be given the chance at a life that he was robbed of. Hecate spoke to Zeus and I was left out of the conversation after that.

"It was the way of the Gods that you don't miss out on a life you should have had." I say with a smile and I take a step back looking at the door. "Take a chance that the Gods have a plan for you."

I walk inside and I see Deimos standing by the door. He jumps when I walk in and I chuckle. "Deimos, it's impolite to eves drop." I shake my head and walk up to our office. I take a deep breath and I see a photo of Cassie on the desk and I smile as I sit down behind the desk. The map was still out and I look around, by this time next week the world will be hopefully saved from my great uncles and Jace's uncle Valentine.

The next morning, I wake up early to make sure that everything runs smoothly for breakfast. I see Mystis and I can see shes about to explode, she gives me a look and I know exactly who is giving her problems. I shake my head and take a deep breath before charging up the grand staircase taking them two at a time. I speed my way through the halls on the third floor until I am standing outside my fathers door. I bang on it with all my might at one point I thought it was going to come off the hinges until he opened it, shirtless and I wanted to barf.

"You need to do something about Minthe!" I peer in and I see Persephone still laying in bed.

"Why? What has she done now?" Hades asked grabbing a shirt that was by the door and putting it on rolling his eyes.

"She is disrespectful and insubordinate! She is making my House Manager mad. You said she follows what I say or she suffers my punishments. I am coming to you knowing your history with her." I say standing at the door not quite wanting to come into the room.

"Anya, darling daughter, you tell me what YOU want and I will do it. Oh, how you turn my world, you precious thing." Hades says looking at me. That's when I realized Melinoe was right, I am his first love.

"I want you to tell her your serious about her following my rules. The punishment for not following my rules is bread and water for meals and a few days in my cells below." I say looking towards the bed seeing Persephone stir.

"Then count it done. If that is your punishment then do it. I will not have a conversation with her especially if you have already had a conversation with her. I expect my Naiads to follow my children's rules as though they were mine and she knows this." Hades says shrugging, "I will even take her to the cell for you."

"Fine. Have her meet me in my office in fifteen minutes, and I expect you to be there as well." I say turning and walking to my office taking deep breaths. All of my staff follow my rules so I never have to punish them but Minthe thinks she's better than everyone including me.

In ten minutes I have my father in the office as I am looking over my cell placement and I find the one that is further from the doors. Five minutes later Minthe walks in swaying her hips like she is untouchable. I grab the phone and I call Deimos and Phobos to the office. When Minthe sees me she glares and when she sees my father she smiles and presses into him.
