The Muses: Titans Return

Chapter 12

"Well hello, darling." Minthe says smiling at my father. Hades stands still and doesn't touch her. She looks confused as Deimos and Phobos walk in. Minthe turns to the boys and give them each a small smile.

"Minthe, you have been called here to discuss your behavior towards my house staff. Is there anything you would like to say about the situation?" I ask standing up behind the desk and looking at her.

"Hades, tell them who I am and who I actually work for. I don't work for a half-blood and I don't work for bastards." Minthe spits back to me. I c**k an eyebrow up as I glance at Hades.

"Minthe, you were told before you came here you were to listen to the Gods and Goddesses who run this community. I expect my Naiad would know how to follow orders." Hades states matter-a-factly. "Anastasia, Goddess of the Arts, Science and Proclaimer of Heros, Daughter of Hades, what punishment do you have for my Naiad?" Minthe looks at me kind of wide eyed.

"Minthe, Underworld Naiad and Hades' Mistress, since I can see you are not remorseful for your actions and behavior, I am left with punishing you to the cells for two days with only bread and water two times a day. Hades is forbidden to see you and Persephone will be the one giving you your meals." Minthe opens her mouth to speak and I hold my hand up stopping her, "I have no interest in hearing what you have to say. Next time you call one of the leaders here a 'bastard' remember I could show you why Hades picked my mother. I am being lenient as it is. Deimos, Phobos take her to cell 30. You are dismissed." Bo and Deimos grab Minthe as she kicks and yells that I am making a big mistake.

"Anastasia, I apologize for her. Please know that even after her punishment she will be punished when we return home as well. Maybe Zagerus' Hydra needs some caring for." Hades says looking at me.

"Father, don't punish the Hydra. He did nothing wrong. I am just glad you didn't have kids with her." I say as sirens blare.

I run to my room quickly and throw on my armor and I meet everyone in a clearing. Standing in what was an empty field is now hundreds of Gods, Goddesses and their children, thousands of wolves, and two hundred witches. I push my way to the front and see Ares, Aphrodite, Apollo, Artemis, Athena, Demeter, Hades, Hera, Hestia, Poseidon, Zeus, Deimos and Phobos all standing facing the crowd.

"The time has come! The Titans must be defeated!" Zeus looks at Coeus, Crius, Hyperion and Iapetus' kids, "They have decided to bring in the other supernatural's and that is why we have brought in the wolves, Thank you Alpha Elijah, and the witches, Thank you Grand Warlock Jace." Zeus gives a nod to the two of them and looks back at the crowd. "Today we will preparing for battle! The Titans have taken so much already." Cerberus growls as the crowd parts as he comes up behind me. I don't move as he sits next to me eyeing everyone.

"We will meet up in an hour at the South Wall! Everyone is dismissed. Notus, Orion, Elena and Nikolas. Stay behind we need to talk." Everyone disperses and all that's left is the South Wall guards, the Olympian guards, Deimos, Phobos, Melinoe and I in the field. Zeus runs a hand down his face and sighs. "Deimos, what kind of terrain is in that portion of Kaydagra?"

Deimos takes a second to think of his answer before speaking, "Well most of this island is trees to cover us and help Anya when she shifts, but I think that portion has a beach which from what Notus and Orion said that's where they are camping." Zeus nods and looks towards the South. I can see him trying to think and I look at Ares and Athena and they look like they have a thought or two.

"I think we need Ares Chariot to stay the way it is. Melinoe has agreed to stay behind in our safe room with those who can't fight." I say looking at the twins. This will be the first time I see The Chariot crew together ready for battle.

"What and where will you be then Anastasia?" Hades asks looking at me worried.

"I will be at the front. I will either be shifted into Saphira or partially with her wings." I say seeing the fear flash in his eyes for my well being. "Father, Alpha Elijah taught me how to use my dragon for fighting and I am married to a Son of Ares. I will also have Cerberus. Will Zagerus, Melinoe, and Macaria have their companions?" I ask my father.

"Melinoe will have Chimera with her in the building and I heard Zagerus mentioned having Hydra and I haven't spoken to Macaria to see if she will have Griffin." Hades says looking towards the house. I pull out my phone and find Macaria, or Maci, in my phone, and I step away from the group calling her.

"Maci, will you have Griffin with you and do you know if Zag will have Hydra for sure." I ask as she answers the phone.

"Griffin has been in your barn for a few days now and Zagerus got armored up and was heading for Hydra now. Chimera is with Melinoe." She answers in a no nonsense way.

"Perfect thanks." I say hanging up and putting my phone away, "Zeus!" I call over to him. He looks my way and raises an eyebrow, "Macaria has Griffin, Melinoe has Chimera, and Zagerus is currently getting Hydra as we speak, so we will have our companions with us to help." Zeus nods approvingly. He never liked the idea of us getting these companions unless it benefits him.

An hour later, the bangs of the drums of war sound. The clearing fills back up and you can see the separation. You can see Selene standing in front of Alpha Elijah and the Conservation Team. Hecate and Circe stands in front of the Moon Hollow Coven with Jace behind them. The Olympians stood along side the Titans who sided with Zeus during the Titanomachy. Suddenly The Chariot comes into view, Ares stands at the reigns next to his sister Enyo, Goddess of Destructive War and Devastation. Standing in the two corners are Deimos and Phobos both looking more fierce and dangerous than ever. Standing in between them is Eris, Goddess of Strife and Discord. I glance at the wolves and witches and I can see a visible shake as the Chariot rolls to a stop.
