"The world is at risk! Your world is at risk!" Zeus yells looking at the witches and wolves. "Today we will see the end of some Titans that should have been dealt with long ago!" I turn as the Olympians yell in approval. "Olympians and Titans! Head to the South Wall! Selene, head your wolves to the south-west, shift and wait for our call. Hecate and Circe, use the witches to make a shield so the main land doesn't see or get damaged. Anastasia can you help them before you head to the south?" Zeus looks at me hopeful and I give him one small nod. "Everyone! Disperse!"
As everyone goes to their asked directions I walk over to the witches and warlocks and we instantly get to work. I stand next to Hecate and Circe, I give them a small nod as Hecate and the witches and warlocks close their eyes to concentrate. My eyes flash a neon purple as I look up at the sky. Circe and I make the same movements as we lift our arms above our head and repeat "Obice circa hanc insulam, socios nostros defende". The witches say the exact same thing but in English instead of Latin. 'Put a barrier around this Island, Protect those who are our allies.'
Once we feel the barrier solidify I partially shift and fly off to the South. Once I make it there I see the Olympians standing by the gate and along the wall looking down on the other side. I look for The Chariot and when I finally find them Deimos crouches down towards me. "Barrier is up?" He asked me cupping my cheek. I give a small nod before he gives me a rushed, hard kiss, "Don't do anything stupid, don't try and be the hero, and for the love of Gods and Goddesses, do not die!" I give a small smile
"Same to you, D. Cassie needs us both." He smiles and rolls his eyes as he stands up straight and turns facing the front of the Chariot. I look around and I find my father looking at me. We both give each other a small nod. I stand next to Ares' Chariot and I close my eyes taking a deep breath. As I open them my eyes are glowing their mystical neon purple and dragon wings sprout from my back. Those who have never seen this gasp in awe. Others just watch mystified. When I look at Hades and Alpha Elijah I see pride in their eyes, their faces show no emotion though. I glance over my shoulder and over my wing for one more look at Deimos, he gives a final nod before I squat down and jump letting my wings fly me into the air.
When I stopped in the sky I look towards the South and I can see rabid wolves running through the trees towards us. I see the four Titans on the beach talking. I see who I assume is Valentine with them looking around. They must know by now that there is a barrier around the island. I look down at our army and I can see that we supersede theirs by thousands, but strength is not measured in numbers. I close my eyes and reach Alpha Elijah by the pack mind-link.
Alpha, rouges are heading towards the wall. I am only counting about fifty coming our way.
Heard. Sending one hundred towards the wall.
Suddenly I hear rustling in the trees where Elijah was and I can hear wolves fighting. I fly back towards the ground and nod at Notus to open the gate. He nods back and starts opening the doors as the Sons and Daughters of Ares start yelling ready to fight. I shake my head towards Ares who is watching me. I will let him know when to send the Olympians.
I fly back up and I look for Valentines witches, that's when I see the trees lightly shaking. No, not shaking. Vibrating. I fly towards Hecate and Circe, "The trees are vibrating. I have never heard of witches doing that! What could it be!?" I asked frantic. They both looked at me and gave a small smile.
"The dryads are helping. Dryads are from the trees, they must be moving the land to help us fight." Hecate says that and I fly back up. Suddenly all the trees have shifted to the sides and there is a large clearing in front of the wall all the way to the shoreline, roughly three football fields away. We can see the wolves fighting and can see that we have slaughtered them. I take a moment and close my eyes letting my hearing reach the ground. The growls of the Conservation Team almost silences the dying gasps of the rouges. I open my eyes and I see witches on the beach grabbing swords and shields preparing for battle.
I fly back to the ground next to the Chariot. I look at Ares and I give a small nod. Ares turns to his son Enyalios, God of Battle, standing on the wall above the gate and raised two fingers. Enyalios draws his sword and all two hundred archers nock their bows, Enyalios doesn't take his eyes off his father and suddenly we can hear distant yelling from beyond the wall. The group of witches were charging us. Ares drops one finger and Enyalios raises his sword above his head. The moment Ares drops his last finger Enyalios drops his swords, the archers let their arrows fly and they continue to let them fly.
Ares braces himself as he snaps the reigns and his Chariot takes off with everyone in it. I watch as Deimos, Phobos, Eris, Enyo, and Ares ride through the gate. Nike, Goddess of Victory, stands where The Chariot once stood and raised her sword in the air, behind her a small army does the same and they run through the gates clashing with the remaining witches who were running and managed to miss the arrows. I hear the cries of the witches who were not prepared for this battle, those who underestimated the power the Gods and Goddesses hold.
