Chapter 5 : Final Training

After the all out attack,, we were taught how to hide our identities. that's working under cover.

Luckily no lives were lost during the all out attack.

Later on we we taught we were taught how to use fake identities to crash parties. We are able to blend into any party undetected even if their security system is tight.

Now its time for our final training.

Finally we would be allowed to use the portal in the chambers to go into Earth. They are finally letting us go into earth for the first time.

Am so excited but at the same time am very nervous because its like a dream come true.

Before we depart,,we were first split into groups. we'll be taken to a crime scene in groups. we are going to analyse the crime scene,, study all the evidence and give our reports back.

Any group that can identify the creature that committed the crime will get to handle the case and also be the elite team.

I felt so excited when Jess and Andrew were placed in the same group I was. Although we're all acquainted with each other but I prefer working them closely because I trust them both.

Altogether we were twelve groups and we were eight in each group. We were lettered group A-L and my team was group C.

After placing us in groups,, Lord Harry told us to go prep up and meet him in the chambers in two hours.

I was super excited. I wish I could share my happiness with him. I wish I can tell him I'll be coming to earth soon. I sincerely hope we won't be spending much time on earth because am going to miss him. Although am I love going to earth but when I'm on earth I wont be able to see him every night like I always do.

Maybe fate will smile at me and I'll meet him on my first visit to earth... ' keep dreaming bells ' I chided myself.

Soon the maids finished packing my bag pack with all I'll be needing. Yes we have maids. If you're not useful in the field and you're also not useful as an official guard then you're placed in other departments like cooking,,cleaning,,washing,,etc.

So I made my way to the chambers along with everyone else.

You could see the excitement on all our faces.. My father was there also because he had to open up the portal. He gave a speech on how we should not forget all we've learnt and how we should always be loyal to our superiors. Hes just a hypocrite. Hearing his good speech always turns me off. But I won't let him spoil my excitement. I'll just focus on the mission because this is the first step towards achieving my dreams. If we're able to solve this case that means more cases will be given to us and that also means more visits to earth. visiting earth more often increases my chances of ever meeting him one day.

Finally the portal was opened and we individually made our way in after our superiors.

At first we were disoriented by the time travel through the wormhole but after few minutes we took in our surroundings. It was so beautiful. Earth is absolutely amazing. We were allowed little time to adjust to our surroundings then we made our way to the waiting vehicles. I was just about to climb into the bus when someone bumped into my. Queenie intentionally bumped into m.

Watch it you, I yelled at her. She turned giving me a smug smile..

Sorry princess,,I didn't mean to. she replied me but the look on her face tells you she ain't sorry at all.

Jess : I could slap that smug look off her face.

Bella : Shes not worth it... Let's just let her be.

Andrew : Someone needs to put these losers in their place. You can't keep putting up with their attitudes.

Bella : Let's just go please.

We all entered the buses that was to convey us to our destination.

I don't know why I keep putting up with Queenie and Brian including their daft and clingy friends. Its true I feel guilty about what my father did to their parents but they shouldn't take it out on me because it's not easy for me either. I wish there was a way to end all this. I wish I could tell them all I know but the truth is I don't even know how I know all these things myself.

We soon arrived at our destination. it's one of the biggest hotels in the city. Although this hotel is owned by a sup, we still to lay low so we don't attract any kind of attention because humans do lodge here as well.

By order of the king of Nexus namely "My father " We were given the whole rooms at the top floor of the hotel. The rooms at the top were beautifully designed as penthouses. Each group stayed together in a penthouse. staying together gave us the opportunity to get along with each other and discuss about the case.

soon enough everyone fell asleep but I was still awake. if we were still in Nexus I would have sneaked into the chambers to watch him. I kept smiling and thinking about him till I drifted off to sleep.

We arrived at the crime scene early the following day. we all could not go in at once so we went in group by group.

When my group got in,, I took in the scene before my eyes. it was a gruesome murder case. A young lady was brutally murdered. You could see the claw marks on her shoulders and stomach. The sight was so repulsive.

I could see the other members of my team already shifting to different creatures that their basic strength lies in. They were starting to do their jobs and analyse the scene.

I first took in the scene before I shifted to my. "A fairy ". I could the eyes of everyone on me because I was exceptionally beautiful. And as a fairy my beauty hypnotised everyone. that is one of the powers of a fairy.

Come on guys stop staring and let's get to work I scolded so they can get back to work. I walked closer to the corpse and I could feel the fear she felt before she was killed. I put on gloves and examined the body. Immediately I touched her I saw it all. it was just like a movie being played before my eyes. She walked into the house unaware of a stalker. he followed her in and said some things to her which I was not able to understand. it seemed like she knows him.I was trying to see his face then suddenly he looked up as if he knows am there. I removed my hand from hers quickly and the vision disappeared as quickly as it came. I ignored the eyes on me and got to work. I walked round the crime scene and observed the surroundings. It doesn't make any sense. it just doesn't add up. The claw marks are deep suggesting that it's a werewolf or Kitsune but the corpse have been completely drained of blood which can only be done by a vampire. I was still having conflicting thoughts when the smell hit me.... Fairies??? That cant be right. I shifted to a werewolf to confirm if the smell I was perceiving was me or another fairy. It definitely is not me. it's a Male. And I know for a fact that only fairies have the magic to frame other sups. But why would a fairy do something like this?? Although Fairies love clinging to humans as a fairy godmother or a fairy godfather but they don't kill their wards.

I needed to be sure about this because I really want to be immediately activated for field service. I don't want to be benched or worse.

To be sure I was right,,I put on my hand gloves and went closer to the corpse. I turned her and opened her eyes with my fingers and sure enough her eyes were sparkling with glitters. Yeah it's definitely a fairy that she came in contact with.

But why did he kill her and even try to frame other sups. its so confusing.

Anyway I think my job here is done. I quickly signalled for the rest of my group to come closer. Most of them refused to go too close to the corpse while Jess and Andrew were arguing as usual. Jess thinks it's a Kitsune while Andrew thinks it's a werewolf. I wonder if none of them saw the bite marks on her neck or noticed that her blood had been drained completely.

Bella : Shut up guys. Your all wrong. It's a fairy.

They all looked at me with doubts evidently written on their faces. They too cant believe its a fairy because its against their ethics

I simply told them all to shift into their fairy form and get familiar with their smell. only then can they perceive the smell of another fairy. They did as I said and sure enough,, they perceived his own smell. I then called their attention to the sparkling glitters in her eyes.

The shock was so evident in their faces. But Why??? Cleo a member of our group asked.

I shook my head at him because I was asking myself that very question.

We quickly filed our reports and gave it to Lord Harry who stood outside waiting for us.

My true strength shows when I transform to a fairy and I know fairies are not supposed to hurt humans. Fairies protect and love humans like their own children. I felt angry at the fairy responsible for this gruesome murder. I also felt pity for the girls family who would be made to believe that their daughter was attacked by a wild animal. I kept my thoughts to my though..

We got into the bus and headed back to the hotel so the next group can come. We have to wait for all teams to do their own analysis before the winner is announced.

I Sincerely hope am right.....
