Elvanya's POV
I woke up in Kael's bed with his arms wrapped around me and morning light streaming through the window.
For a moment everything felt perfect and safe but then I remembered we only had eleven days left until the blood moon.
Kael was already awake and watching me with those stormy gray eyes. "Ready for training?"
"Do we have to?" I mumbled and buried my face in his chest.
"Yes." He kissed the top of my head. "Especially now, you need to be ready for what's coming."
