Elvanya's POV I ran. My feet barely touched the cold stone floor as I fled from the War Room. My chest felt tight and my hands wouldn't stop shaking. The words I heard kept repeating in my head over and over. We must kill the slave now, Thorne was going to kill me. The King's most trusted man wanted me dead and he had others who agreed with him.
