Chapter Seven

Sanjana's POV:
"This is all you can do now Arnav, hurt me physically... you've already hurt me mentally just in two days, now hurt me physically... Maximum kill me... nothing more than that Arnav, nothing more than that... " I cried out before running outside.
As soon as I reached outside, I saw mom sitting with Kaveri aunty, oops maa. I quickly wiped away my tears, dried my face and went up to them
"Maa... " I called out and she turned to face me. I hugged her tight, trying not to cry..
"How are you beta? " worse than your expectations mom...
"I'm great maa, you here? " I asked.
"I'm here to take you home for pagphera.. " she said. Good, at least I'll get some happiness now...
"Oh! Then I'll pack my bag and just come... " I said and both my mothers nodded.
When I returned to the room, Arnav was not there... he'll probably be in the washroom. I quickly took out my bag and started packing, when he came.
"Where are you going? " he asked.
"It's none of your business.. " I replied.
He pinned me to the front wall and held my hands above my head.
"Where. Are. You. Going!? " he asked her sternly..
"T-to my ma-maternal ho-hou-house. " I stammered. His grip on my hands was hurting me badly.
"Why? " he asked.
"F-For pa-pag-pagphera... " I replied. He didn't leave me... by now his names had pierced my skin.
"A-Arnav y-you a-are hurt-hurting me! " I said with tears..
He let me go. I looked down, wiping my tears and then took my bag walking out.
"Sanjana... " he called out and I stopped dead in my tracks.
"When will you come back? " he asked me... why does he care?
"When you wish to bring me... " I took a deep breath and replied, just above a whisper and left..
I went downstairs and got into the taxi with my mom. I was sitting, looking out of the window when mom spoke up.
"Are you happy there? " she asked and I smiled.
"Very happy... " she didn't seem satisfied by my answer.
She took my hand in hers and looked at the scars which Arnav had made.. and then looked at me.. I pulled back my hand...
"Mom, we just had a small argument and Arnav is short tempered, he apologized for this later... I'm very happy mom, trust me.. " I said, cupping her face and she smiled wide. Sorry mom, but it's better to be quite than tell you both the truth and hurt you people...
We reached home soon. I changed and then had a long chat with mom.
"Mom why do you look so flushed? " I asked.
"Beta... Ranjana had called... she apologized and.. and said she will return in a year's time, she also asked about Ar-Arnav.. your dad didn't speak to her but, she even asked about him and you.. and I— " I cut her off.
"You didn't tell her about my and Arnav's marriage, right? " I asked, with a heavy heart.. and mom nodded her head.
"Don't worry, I'll talk to Arnav about our divorce... " I trailed off.
"But beta— " she was cut off by me.
"Maa... both of us are not willing to take this marriage forward then why ruin each other's lives? " J took in a deep breath "It's better if we part.. " I finished.
"I wish for a daughter like you in every life... " she said caressing my face.
I went up to the dinning table and served both of us. Dad hadn't arrived yet.. After having dinner I was tossing and turning on the bed. I couldn't sleep, when there was a knock on the window.. I looked up. It was Arnav. I was shocked. What is he doing here, at this time?
He gestured for me to open the window and I did so. He came in and stood in front of me, without a word...
"A-Arnav wha-what are you doing h-here? " I asked.
"Nothing.. " he said and turned.
I caught his forearm and he turned to me. He hugged me and I stood in my place shocked! He left me soon and went off, even before I could react.. what happened to him?
I still tried to sleep but, my eyes weren't agreeing with my mind.. It was around 3:26 am when I drifted into deep sleep...
As I woke up the next morning and went down I saw Arnav already there, to take me home... why is he behaving so different??
