Robert Blair was on the phone to Lowe yet again.
“She is still not here. It has now been hours.”
“I tried Sergeant Grant’s radio and his cell phone. No reply yet. I have just put out an APB on his vehicle. Hang tight. In the meantime, do not even let room service into your suite, Wilken will bring everything you need to you. Only Wilken, understood?
“Yes sir, but what about Jacqui’s medicine?”
“I’ll see what I can do, I’ll phone the hospital and perhaps I can pick it up myself later, but in the meantime do what you can. I believe it is only a bout of flu and exhaustion. Keep her hydrated and feed her aspirin until I get there.”
