I ran upstairs to find James. He was sitting on a bed. The man, who I assume is Shelby's mom's boyfriend, was laid out on the floor.
"Did you kill him?" I asked rushing the words out.
"No. Although the i***t deserves to die." James said with a growl, I can't wait to activate my wolf, then when I change I can have his strength. "He is drunk and passed out."
"Thomas told me, for us, to get all we can of her stuff that will fit in my car and go to my house." I said while motioning him to come on. "Hopefully he stays passed out."
"Did he leave already?" He asked.
"Yeah, since my mama's a doctor she can help." I stated. "Let's find her room and hurry."
