Vanessa POV
"Hi, you, yes you, I am talking to you", someone calls behind me and I know who it exactly belongs to.
I turn around and I see an red eye Heidi stormed towards me.
I cross my arms and smirk, I saw what happened during lunch time and I was happy that Jake blew her off.
"What's going on between you and the hottest guy at school?" she demands, her over high heels making her inches taller than I.
"Nothing, you can have him", I say.
"Bullshit, I see the way he looks at you, it's the same way Brenda looks at Logan", she growls.
"With disgust, then you're right", I say.
"No with love", she hiss.
Love?
Right now Brenda is cheating on Logan and he's always daydreaming to realize what's happening.
"Not love, because Brenda is cheating on him and I caught her making out with Chase over the summer" I say.
"You're calling my friend a b***h now", she snarls.
"No, I am calling her a liar and a s**t, Logan deserves better and by better I mean a girl who would appreciate him", I say.
"You don't know anything about love", she says.
"I know that Brenda and Logan's relationships isn't love at all, by next month they'll drift apart, what am I saying, they already are doing that", I laugh.
"Whatever, just stay away from Jake", she says.
I laugh a dryly,"how would I do that? Most of our classes are together and he sits right next to me", I answer.
"Don't say I didn't warn you", she growls and walks off.
"Shouldn't you be telling him that? He's the one who's always trying to talk to me", I shout behind her.
I turn around and make my way to the parking lot.
"What took you so long?" Mom's boyfriend ask, as I get into the vehicle.
"A b***h", I answer and he just laugh.
"Want a smoke?" He offered, taking a pull of him cigarette.
I cough,"no, I don't want lung cancer".
"suite yourself and your mother would be home late, so you have to cook dinner tonight", he adds.
Again?
"I did last night", I state.
"I don't got no money to buy food, so it's cooking have to be done", he says.
"Where in the world did mom found you?" I mumbled.
He slams the breaks,
"What did you just say b***h?", he growls.
"N-nothing", I stutter and he continue to drive .
When we reach home, I ran up the stairs and luck my door.
"Well hello there princess", someone says and I jump in fright and turn around to see a tattooed guy sitting on my bed.
"Who the hell are you?", I ask, he got off from my bed and walk towards me.
"W-what are you doing?" I stutter my heart starting to beat fast.
He runs his hand on my cheek,"such innocents", he laughs dryly.
My heart starts to beat fast, when his hands grip my shoulder.
"L-leave m-m a-lone", I stutter, starting to shake and breathe heavily.
"I wouldn't hurt you, shh don't cry", he says wiping my tears.
He place his hands on my butt,
"Such nice a*s, I bet no guy ever touched you there or here", how whispers and move his hand to my front.
I raise my foot and kick him in his jewels.
"You b***h!" He shouts and falls to the floor.
I open my door and run down the stairs.
"Vanessa where are you going?", my mom ask as I open the front door almost knocking her down.
"M-mom", I say and hug her, shaking like a leaf.
"Oh darling you look like you seen a ghost", she says worriedly.
"there'samaninthebedroom", I rumble and my mom watch me in confusion.
"huh?"
"Call the police!" I scream and she panics getting out her phone.
"Kyle, yeah it's me, I have an emergency", mom says, talking to her officer friend.
Mom got ice blue eyes, but brunette hair. Maybe I got the dirty blonde hair from my dad.
The police arrive ten minutes later,
"Hello I am Kyle, what's your name?", officer Kyle ask me.
"Vanessa", I reply and he nods.
"The tattoo man, tried to r**e me", I add and that got his attention.
"Oh sweetheart from now on, I'll make you stay at Dianne's", mom says as hug me.
Kyle watches mom and sighs he looks away. He got the same dirty blonde hair like me, but so does Kevin.
"Is Kevin your son?", I ask.
"Yes, why?"
"He goes to my school and he resembles you", I reply.
"Thanks Kyle for coming", mom smiles at him, I can see that she and him had a past.
"No problem, call me anytime", he says and leaves.
"Now it's time I break up with that jerk", mom says, marching into the house.
"About time too", I mumble.
Jake POV
"Jake tell Tyrell that I don't like him, he keeps commenting anything I post", Ashley says, getting annoyed by the fact this guy is obsess with her.
"Who's upsetting my baby girl?" Dad ask, walking into the room.
"Jake's teammate, he wouldn't leave me alone", Ashley sighs.
"Who? Tyrell?" Dad frowns, he knows almost all my friends who I hang out with.
"Yes, during lunch he only smiling at me, when there's a girl who always staring at him", she replies rolling her eyes.
"Give him some credit, you're beautiful he can't resist the temptation", dad says.
"Well I am not interesting", she says.
"Then who you're interested in?", I ask.
"No one, all the guys in school are players, i don't trust them expect for you and Kevin", she says.
"What about Logan ? I ask watching a picture of Vanessa on my phone.
"No, he's with that girl Brenda and she's obvious cheating on him, he's just to blind to see", she replies.
"Justin, I need you to watch the cake for me", mom calls from downstairs.
"just tell Tyrell that you want to be friends alone", dad says and leaves.
"Also Sharon is blind, Chase does sleep with girls behind her back as well", she adds.
"how do you know that?", I ask.
"Well cause Mike told Juliet, Juliet told Carrie, Carrie told Hadley, Hadley told Jennifer and Jennifer told me", she says.
"I don't trust Jennifer at all, she's act like a b***h", I say.
"Oh really, then what about your girlfriend Heidi?", she ask.
"Heidi is not my girlfriend, I don't even like her", I say truthfully.
I like Vanessa and she has no clue.
"Seriously? You still drooling over that shy nerd Vanessa", she laughs.
"She's not a nerd or shy!" I shout and storm out the room.
"Wow, what did she say this time?" Liana ask.
"None of your business", I snap and went in my room, then slam the door.
I lay down on my bed and stare up into the ceiling.
Why can't I get her out of my head?
My phone rings, I pick it up.
"Hello?"
"I thought you wouldn't pick up"
"Who's this?", looking at the unknown number.
"It''s me, Heidi"
"How did you get my number?"
"I got my ways, am hosting a party Friday."
"Can I bring anyone I want?" thinking about Vanessa.
"Sure one person, all your friends are invited as well."
"Okay"
"Great, I'll see you tomorrow."
I hang up.
Who would have Vanessa's number? Dianne.
If I can only get Kevin to get Dianne's number, it will be piece of cake to get Vanessa's.
"Jake, dinner time", Jeremy announce behind the door.
I got up and leave the room.
Vanessa I hope you're up for a party this Friday.
