Chapter 5: Clash Inside The Man-Made Cave

Saul and hanta rush and fight the guards while emerald sneaks and free slaves. While they're all busy the leader of the bandit discover they invade through the vent tunnel he cut the rope that hanta and others use to descend from and seal the entrance of the vent tunnel their only way out now is the main door and hanta notice it.

Hunter: So the boss finally shows up the last minute and trap us.

Boss: Haha yeah you will all die here! Now you know our secrets.

*Taps a remote that opens a hidden room inside the cave they all see a orc with at least 10 human skeleton inside its cage this is where the rebel slave goes, they are all fed to the orc* *evil grin*

Boss: You guys realize what's going to happen now, right? *Evil laugh*

Saul: This is bad villain with that face doesn't always this clever haha.

Emerald: where do he get it and why it is here orc is a class d+ monster according to the loot book and fed on humans for thousands of years battling human they learn to adapt and can use weapon and clothing too.

*Appearance of orc got at least 3 meters in height and weigh like 400kg with spike club, nose ring and a loin cloth it got red eyes and seems to be drugged*

Hanta: We got no choice than to kill it aren't we?

Emerald: Yeah, if you don't want to get eaten and become skeleton on its feet.

Saul: Be careful it seems it got drugged atleast think its power is amplified if we get hit were done.

*Emerald shoots the paralyzing arrow but didn't effect coz its already drugged and don't feel anything*

*Hunter tries to combat it but the orc just got bruise from his punch and kick*

*Saul just observes*

Saul: I guess it does not feel pain and the paralyzing arrow don't work it's like a berserker.

~The orc is rampaging without thinking so its advantage to the adventurer and prisoner to stay out.

Saul: We need to hit the vital organs now first we blind it so he will attack in the dark.

*Meanwhile the prisoners is an adventurer too since they're all equipped with a digging tools, they make a pitfall trap from the hole they're digging and put the cement that is mixing with rainbow flower to make drugs they can't fight because their severely weaken and beaten*.

Emerald aim for the eye while hunter is fighting it and dodging deadly attacks, she got 1 eye hit and hunter just throw a dirt to other eye the orc vision is distracted now they just need to lure it on the trap hunter bait the orc to chase him and it drops on a hole full of cement.

The orc is now secured and trapped in the cement it can't move while its trapped the prisoner finish it by pick axe and stone hammer to avenge their comrade/friends that got eaten and offer the loot to their hero orc fang and the orc nose ring based on the loot book it sells for 10 gold coin each fang and 20 gold for the ring the adventurer decide to split it but of course emerald got bigger cut coz of 5% storage fee she smiles with gold coin eyes

After the orc lose the boss decided to flee but the rangers already into him and shoot him with a crossbow that crucified him to the tree, they already notified the towns army and just waiting for their arrive to detain and interrogate the boss of bandits.

The adventurer and prisoners rejoice for the win, and they proceed to the room that where the bandit make drugs, they use gas mask before entering and obtain unused 3 rainbow flower its plus 50 gold each for them truly a bountiful mission worth dying hanta first quest is accomplished!

But the adventurer is still trapped, and the rangers don't see the vent tunnel because the bandit boss blocked it too so there's no option they need to break through solid rock door its a 1-meter-thick door that locks from outside and the vent tunnel is 20 meter high, and the rope is cut and is thrown to the vent tunnel.

Hanta: So how we will get out now the blockhead boss trapped us. This door is at least a meter thick.

Emerald: ill try it but i never cut a stone this thick.

*She slice it but it didn't cut through the stone its halfway though but her katana is dented

*Saul smirks and smokes from kiseru and stands up

Saul: I'm going to cut the orc earlier if we got no choice but i see the captive adventurers wanna revenge their friends and comrades so I didn't intervene.

Unsheathed his dagger hidden in his clothes and cut the stone door v shaped it cut like a butter and the v shaped stone door just slides outside. Now they're all free.

Emerald: how can you cut it so easily with just a dagger saul?

*Saul smiles and says this dagger is made out a meteorite this is called "Space dagger" it's so light as leaf and is sturdier than normal rocks.

*Emerald takes note of saul weapon info in her weapon booklet*

Saul laughs you're basically a weapon nerd right? lol

*emerald *blushed* red-faced guilty.

Hanta: Wow you two got pretty interesting weapons and tools for adventure hope in the future i can afford some too *sob face*

Emerald: Yeah of course it's pretty easy if you start hunting some loots from the monsters and doing quest daily on the guild's hall.

Hanta: Yeah, I guess I'm looking forward for more quest now!.

They finally exit the cave with the captured adventurers and saul notice they're all men and there's at least 80+ missing girl adventurer that's still nowhere to be found.

*Saul asks the prisoners*

Saul: Did you guys got some girls working with you here?

Hanta: Why you're always looking for girls haha.

Saul: *laughs* I'm just curious you know there so many girls missing we saw their sketch on the missing person board right.

Prisoner: No, we don't see any woman working here since we start digging this mountain for months.

Prisoner 2: I bet the missing girls are eaten or killed by the monster in this area.

Emerald: We did recover some of girls ripped clothes but no foul play or blood on the scene.

Hanta: Maybe they're being kidn*pped and taken somewhere?

Saul: That's a possibility i feel bad for the woman though can't imagine what bad guys will do to them.

Hanta: Maybe we just report it to the knights so they will have a clue what happen here.

*The rangers arrive and see the prisoners and the 3 heroes outside the cave*

Ranger: Woah woah you guys got big haul here you guys just solve the mystery of the missing persons huh? We just capture their boss trying to escape.

Emerald: Yes were been trapped by that guy i want to slice him by myself we got nearly killed by his pet orc

Ranger: oh yeah?

~The boss is struggling while the ranger is carrying him *smacks the boss in the head* the boss gets unconscious.

Ranger: We will hand this guy and his colleagues to the knight's army and writes a report about this incident you guys take care of them and get back to the cabin.

Hanta: Alright! i just finish my first mission and we save the missing adventures plus i got plenty of loots to sell thanks saul and emerald!

Saul: Yeah, congrats but im still not completely happy knowing many woman still missing and the possibility their kidn*pped *sigh*

Emerald: Don't worry saul we will investigate on that matter now. Since I'm a woman i want to find them too and know what happen.

Hanta: okay count me in guys if you guys found some information about them more than willing to help.

~The group descends to the mountain and gonna spend night in the cabin while they're on the way hanta and emerald hunt some boar and deer for their banquet saul just smoking on his pipe and reading books while leading the captured adventurers to the cabin.

Hanta leads the hunt and climb in the tree to find some wild boar. Then he spots a group of wild boars and deers then hunter chase them 1 by 1 and the rescued adventurer carry the food along the way they picks some veggies for soup. While it's getting dark saul notice there's someone watching them. Its a giant red panda about 4 meter in height thrice size of a bear.

*Saul said don't move guys*.
