Reunion

It took Amon two days traveling alone to reach the scorpion tribe. He ran for hours and rested minimally. Going back took the three travellers  five days because of Madison's recovering break. They rested often as well as hunted meat and gathered fruits for Madison to enjoy. She was getting impatient with the trip. If only a star trek transporter was invented she sighed into her thoughts.

Finally, on the fifth day, with dirt covering her body, the splint muddy and covered in grease, urine, and anything else that she may have stepped on while going pee and poop outside, she saw the smoke from the village.

Her heart leapt at the site. She would soon be with her mates and her precious girls.

She looked down at her disgusting body, her nose wrinkling. "I can't wait to soak in the bathtub" her voice shivered with anticipation. Her heart craved spending time with her family, her nose said she had to bath first. She could feel her eyes misting with unshed tears, she really had missed her family so greatly. The pain was a bit overwhelming.

When they got to the village, Amon passed through the outskirts to reach their home since Madison was self conscious of her dirty state and he didn't want to add to her distress nor her tears.

Madison could hear Taylor and Kaden's voices and her daughters giggling. They were outside playing with Amber's cubs. As the three exited the jungle, the family looked at each other. Madison was in Kevin's arms, tears pouring down her face, snot covering her upper lip as she watched her family play. The joy she felt was so intense. Taylor, forgetting the girls, took off running to her. Kaden picked up both girls and walked over as well. Taylor had Madison in his arms kissing her face and snot-covered lips, noticing her smell, but willing to overlook the powerful scent to have her back in his arms.

Kevin watched the family reunion, his face impassive with his hidden fears. Just because Amon accepted him didn't mean these two would . Kevin looked over at her daughters and jolted. She had twins from different fathers, how was this possible? She had told him about her twins and her visitor status; he knew she was from New York. But she never told him that her twins had different fathers. Having a litter of cubs was normal, typically two or three males in a litter, but two daughters!  Twins were already unheard of...this is...amazing he thought.

When Taylor finally calmed down, he realized he forgot about the girls. He turned around and saw Kaden with both in his arms and his body relaxed. He took both so that Kaden could also welcome Madison home. Kaden did, taking her lips with his, and thrusting his tongue into her mouth, falling in love with her flavor all over again. He could smell her delicious scent under all the sweat and grime, making his mouth water. Madison melted into his kiss, and wrapped her arms around him. With their lips still touching she said "I want a bath." Kaden smiled and sniffed the air, "Aye, you need one love."

She giggled and wiggled her way out of her mates arms. Her heart couldn't stand to be seperated from her girls any longer. Her mates, all four had a piece of her heart. But her daughters were her heart. She wrapped her arms around the girls and Taylor, "Momma's home" she whispered against their tiny heads. Their adorable faces scrunched up at smelling their mom's odor, it stung their little noses!

The emotional reunion was not enough to make Madison forget how dirty her body was. She hobbled into the house, as soon as she entered the kitchen she took off the fur dress Amon made her back at the cave and let it fall to the floor as she kept walking into the bathroom. While she filled the tub she took off the splint and looked up. Her family was also nude, seeing them made her giggle. Madison got into the water and her mates sat around the tub, their legs submerged with her. The girls were splashing and making baby noises as her mates cleaned off the grime from her body.

The view was so poignant, making Madison's heart clutch and warmth spread throughout her body. She felt tears begin to pool in her eyes and she couldn't restrain herself, she looked at her mates "I love you all so much" at her unprecedented words, her mates sat stunned.

They knew she cared for them, and she owned their hearts, their love for her was their strength and reason for existence. Hearing her say she loved them was an added boon. Amon felt as if his heart completed a somersault in his chest. Taylor's heartbeat increased and he felt, for the first time in his adult life, tears threaten to fall. Kaden's breath halted hearing her words and he sought out her eyes for confirmation of her feelings. Kevin was the most affected. Scorpions showed their affection, but never, in his experience, was a beast told that he was loved. He looked down at his hands unable to process her words, his mind a jumble of emotions and awe.

It was good to be back home. Madison giggled at their response, a sound not in humor, but in awe at how extreme her love was. "I love you all so very much," she repeated. Madison looked each mate in the eye, and told them by name as she touched their hand or their face, realizing that she needed to speak her feelings so that they would know how valued they really were.

The dark water had to be changed! She changed the water out three times before she felt clean. Misty thought it was a game. Ginger just waited patiently for the bubbles to return. Madison enjoyed watching the girls' facial expressions as the water disappeared from the small hole, then as it poured from the bamboo spout.

The men were faster at cleaning their bodies and finished rinsing as she dried off the twins and herself. Misty began to yawn, Ginger soon after. Madison also felt a yawn and took the girls to the master bedroom. She could smell Kaden and Taylor's scents strongly on the blankets as she laid down with her girls.

The men could hear her singing in the bedroom. Taylor's eyes lit up as he began to walk with a purpose. Kevin was standing in the kitchen after the bath, not sure what he should do. Amon saw his hesitation, "Come, Madison likes her mates near her all the time...you will get accustomed to her...needs" he said as he too followed Taylor and Kaden's retreating backs.

Kevin stood for a bit longer. His female had very powerful mates: a demon, phoenix, and a jaguar...now a scorpion. This had to be the most unique family ever, and all the beasts were nice to each other! He followed the others and entered a huge room with a giant bed, four times bigger than any bed he had ever seen. On the bed was Madison with a babe in each arm. Taylor was next to his child, and Kaden had him wrapped in his flames. Amon was holding Madison from behind. Kevin didn't know where he should go. The bed had room for six more people, but the spaces next to his female were taken.

Taylor looked over with a sincere smile on his face, and moved his body. "You can lay here" as he patted Madison's stomach, she looked up with a smile and nodded. "Ok" Kevin crawled onto the bed, and laid with his head on her stomach facing Misty, Taylor and Madison.He felt odd, wanting to hold her in his arms, but loved the feeling of his head on her belly. He felt like he was finally home.

That thought passed through everyone but the babes, and they wouldn't have understood in any case, with Madison back in the house, they were once again HOME, a complete family. Kaden looked forward to learning more about Kevin, amazing having a scorpion alpha in the family. He felt immense pride in his wife. The twins were just happy to get their momma back. They snuggled into her arms and fell asleep, Madison soon followed and felt peaceful dreams for the first time in weeks. Her girls were now nine months old, which meant she had been in this world for almost fifteen months.

When Madison finally woke up, she was alone in the bed. She could hear her girls giggling that sweet baby giggle that makes anyone close enough to hear smile and laugh with them.

Madison got out of bed and put on a dress, with that done, her feet led her to the giggling and men's voices. What she found was...a sight to behold.

Kevin was in his scorpion form as her daughters climbed all over him then would jump off and start climbing again. They had their own personal monkey bars! Her mates were sitting around watching the girls climb and play on her newest mate, all of them laughing and having a family moment without her! It looked as if her mates and children accepted Kevin into their family. Madison's heart swelled with pure glee.

Madison began to laugh at the site, her girls were capricious and fearless.

Actually, Ginger and Misty could smell their mom on Kevin and had already dubbed him as a dad too. Since Madison's smell was distributed to all her mates the same, the girls didn't really know their biological dad was, each of the males fit that role with their scent, and actions so they were all daddy. Since the girls were littermates, they shared the same smell as well, just like Amber's cubs did. In a world ruled by their senses, the girls were not wrong, but they were not right either.

But it didn't matter, because Madison loved her mates and her children unconditionally.

In fact, watching her mates interact, Madison was trying to figure out how to mate with all four of her husbands together, especially with her healing leg. It wasn't drastic, but even she could smell the difference in her scent since she mated with Kevin, and she wanted that unity again. He moved her leg again, feeling with her fingertips the level of pain when she pushed down. It didn't appear to cause much pain at all.

She had to mate with all four for them to have the same smell. While she focused and fantasized ways that they could successfully mate together, her smell of arousal slowly made its way to each mate.
