Chapter 7 Vivian’s point of view I stared at my reflection in the mirror not really satisfied by how I look, I was dressed in a blue Jean bumshot with a white crazy crop top on it; I collected this from Amber. I’m not satisfied yet with how I look, something seems off and so I removed the band banding my hair up in a ponytail letting the waist length wavy brunette fall on my shoulder. I arranged them looking at myself one more time. Now I love my look more. I took the cross-bag I got myself for rare occasions like this throwing it around my shoulder and making my way out of my room. I branched my sister’s room letting her know I’m off, she was sleepy and couldn’t ask where. I got to the living room to see the woman that birth me seated with her eyes glued on the tv screen watching a stupid show and a stick of weed probably stuck in her mouth with smoke emitting from it. My face recoiled in disgust as I looked away walking away and out of the house. I got outside removing the small phone I took from mom from my mini bag and dialing Amber’s number. She’s suppose to be outside waiting for me already. The ring went a long way but she didn’t pick, I puffed out in frustration. Yes it hasn’t been long since I come out and stand here but it’s getting tiring with her not even picking my calls or nowhere to be seen, I’m starting to lose interest. “Boom!” came a voice frightening me a bit from behind, my startled self jumped around and away from her as I glared at her removing the phone from my ear. “Is that your way to apologize for snubbing my calls?” I glared at her from under my eyebrows. A silent chortle left her lips as she engaged me in a hug. I rolled my eyes purposely separating her away from me. “Okay let’s move before I change my mind and go back into that house.” I said, pointing at our apartment in reference to my last statement. “C’mon now,” she grabbed me by my arm as she pulled me away heading to God knows where. “Hey you didn’t even check out my outfit.” I scolded from behind, trying to keep up with her fast pace. “Nah it’s cool,” she said dismissively, I huffed grumpily, that’s likely a non existent compliment. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Okay if I knew she’s gonna be bringing me here I’d have run and call in sick immediately. I honestly wouldn’t have come. Different color of lights flood the thick air in the room around the small dingy club, music vibrating through the dim walls and the stench smell of alcohol, sweats and sins filled my nostrils. I grimaced in total irritation, looking down at the sneakers I put on and lifting it off the floor before placing it gently back again. The floor is slick, and sticky from the array of drinks people dancing and stumbling around have splits throughout the night. I looked around at the couches littered all around against the walls, mostly covered with people trying to suck the air from each other’s lungs or probably having s*x, who knows. It’s too dark to tell anyway. There’s only a dark red neon that makes it through the edges of the room, while the brighter lighting focused over the bar. I stood in a corner watching everybody else have a good time. My best friend one of them. I just couldn’t bring my feet up to dance or make a fun move at least. My eyes went around the club until it landed on this man seated on a couch; the dimmed light didn’t really shed good light on his face, beside him were two different girls, the blonde one rubbing his chest and purring out inaudibly like the w***e she is, the other with her head bent on the man thighs doing something I don’t wish to know. His eyes was on me as I stared at the rubbish he’s engaged in. My face scrunched in disgust before I shifted my gaze looking at somebody else. Amber is nowhere to be found or probably drunk and hopefully not screwing any random stranger. I tapped gently on my nails when two tall figure from nowhere showed up in front of me. I looked up at them with furrowed eyebrow and a confused face on why they’re standing in front of me. “Come with us!” The ugly looking one of them commanded in a rough husky voice. I looked around wondering if they were referring to me or somebody else. Cause you can’t just walk up to someone without any introduction and say I should come with you; a total dangerous looking stranger at that. Maybe he’s not talking to me. When they see I wasn’t bulging or try to even acknowledge them still there anymore the other one spoke up again, his own voice much more deeper and rougher than the other thus instilling some cold feet in me. “Why are you still standing?” He had asked and I couldn’t reply and just stared at his cold-stoned face while praying silent for danger to stay away from me. A glance to the back, and back to me they came closer and my arms were grabbed by each of them and I was lifted off the ground. I tried to scream but a large strong hand landed on my lips that held my scream on a spot. I was placed back down on my feet with the hefty looking guy moving away from me and behind the man seated in front of me. My eyes fed on him, his appearance and all. He was the man I was staring at earlier; the one a w***e was probably sucking his d**k. He gave each girl beside him a glance and they both stood leaving me there alone with him. He eyes went back up coming back to me, a smirk formed on his full pink lips. His razzing low cut hair perfecting his attractive appearance. His framed pointed nose settled atop his full lips while thin beards which ran along on either sides of his profile colliding with his sideboards graced under his chin. My face fell on the tattoo he drew on his neck right down to his shoulder; a deadly one I’d say. He drew a large skull covered in red painting in form of blood I guess . I can’t really see well from the light around here. “I want you,” his thick voice said finally heightening the heat between us. I said nothing pretending not to hear him or wishing the time could just go back and I wouldn’t have agree to come here. “I want you now, $15,000.” He said again, when he lifted his left hand that has a cigar stick stuck between the fingers up to his mouth inhaling and puffing out smoke. ‘Eww, I won’t be loosing my virginity for $15,000’ I thought to myself, letting my expression do the talking by glaring hard at him. He smirked tilting his head sideways in a very dangerous manner. Who is he? Who could he be that he has guards, ready to take me without my consent and just by offering me cash. Who could he be? “I’m gonna have you regardless of your reply. Be wise and don’t make me do it the hard way, accept the cash and follow me now to my car.” He spoke with his whole demeanor changing, he’s now filled so much danger that screams run run Vivian. “I can’t lose my virginity for money or to a stranger. Please let me go.” I clasped my hand in his face, pleading with him. As if what I said spiced his perverted thoughts about me, a smirk curled on his lips as his tongue came out licking round his lips. “That’s much more better, grab her!” He commanded as she stood on his feet. “Wait, please, please, please, don’t try anything with me please,” I started begging when the two hefty guys from earlier came lifting me up like they did the other time. Tears were already forming at the corner eyes when they started moving approaching the exit of the club. If I try screaming no one is gonna heard me with the amount of volume the song being played here is emitting. “Help!!!!!!!!!!!!” I screamed still when the same guy clamped his filthy hands on my mouth. We were close to the door when a girl with a plastic cup stuck on her face bumped into one of the guy carrying me. Her back was facing us, she turned acknowledging who she bumped into only to see me and only for me to see my best friend that got me into this trouble looking at us. “Vee what are you doing with this men?” She questioned immediately, her eyes observing the two men beside me but not seeing the way they were pinching me from behind obviously telling me to lie. The boss that made the order stood behind Amber, my eyes caught his eyes on me and watching this transpired. He pointed his finger at Amber and raise his thumb to his neck drawing an invisible line there to indicate he’s gonna kill Amber if I talk. I saw that as a mere threat because who can he be other than a rich guy that has guards and thought they can have anything they want. “Vee I asked a question, Infact let my friend go I wanna have a chat with her.” She turned away from me, looking fiercely at the guy above the both of us in height. Also trailing my eyes around him I saw the same tattoo I saw on his boss’s neck drew on the same spot with his. “I’m sorry but we won’t be doing that.” He replied her and made to push her away when she grabbed his big arms instead slamming an elbow into it. The other one beside me made a move but she sent a leg between his legs that had him crouching down in pain. She did the same to the other guy before grabbing my hand and pulling me away. We walked past the boss with his eyes fixated on me and mine looking at his hoping we haven’t put ourselves in trouble. We got outside with Amber examining me and checking if I wasn’t hurt anywhere or anyplace. Her hands move all about me till I grabbed it telling her to stop. “I’m fine, I’m very okay,” I muttered, squeezing her palm with mine, a relieved smile on my face. “I’m fine Amber, I’m just glad you came right in time.” I told her. “But who are those guys?” I asked, cause the way she reacted make it seems as if she knew they were dangerous. “I don’t really know, but what I do know is my best friend would never try talking to anyone outside her box except for me and talkless of being seen with two hefty baleful looking man.” She rolled her eyes, catching up with me as we both started walking off the club lane and on to the road that leads home. In the middle of the street I laughed heartily at the joke my best friend made out of the story of her having a s*x with a hot looking bartender. Like what the heck. “Damn Amber, how did you hook up with him so fast?” I asked laughingly, I don’t know how much time was wasted in that club but her getting a d**k in between that time sounds unbelievable. She’s so unbelievable. “First off, I’m irresistible and secondly, I’m a charming seductress.” She smirked flipping her hair backwards while pushing her face out like a queen obviously proud of herself. “Now it’s your turn to tell me how the f**k those men were with you.” She demanded, sounding a bit off or vexed. “I honestly don’t know, I was at a corner and then they came up and was like follow us, I didn’t reply and just ignore their existence until they carried me to their boss who said he wanted me for $15,000. Ironic right? He said he will have me whether I like it or not and he commanded them to carry me until you showed up.” I narrated my totally not wonderful night or moment at the club to her. “I’m so sorry I left you Vee, I’m a bad person when I dragged you into doing this in the first place,” her head rested on my shoulder as she wrapped her arms around me hindering me from taking normal walking steps and rather staggering. I laughed at her. “It’s okay Amber, plus you came right in time.” I said, removing her arms around me and freeing myself before we find the both of us on the ground. “What do you notice about them though, like anything that can be use as a description to the cops if they try troubling you anywhere again cos those guys look like I don’t know, danger perhaps?” She asked, already giving a hint that those people are dangerous. “Nothing casual, except for the tattoo drew on their neck. Like they all had this tattoo, a skull covered in blood drawing. Seems weird.” I answered, remembering the tattoo on their necks. Should that means something, something I should be scared of. “Did you just say Skull with blood?” Amber stopped me asking me in a fearful voice. “Yes,” I answered slowly, trying not to get freaked out with the way she’s behaving suddenly. “f**k Vee, we’ve messed up. My boyfriend the one I told you was killed, he was in this gangs and he had a tattoo just like the one you said, the gang killed him because of me. He warned me to do everything to stay away from them and we just walked right into their den.” She explained, shaking as she fiddled with her nails. “Are you saying we’re in trouble?” I asked, looking optimistic at her because the least I wanna hear is her saying yes. “No Vee, I’m saying our lives are in danger.” To be continued……..
