As I packed up my laptop and the rest of my work equipment to mail back to my boss, I was a little sad. Auditing for the IRS was something I really enjoyed doing. I loved digging through company and personal financials to find the dirty little secrets people hid. And I am damn good at doing my job too. I really hate giving up a part of me that I enjoyed so much. I know Antonio and I haven’t really figured out exactly what my role will be in his company, but I would like to grow my skills on the business side of accounting. I wonder who they are going to replace me with to audit his company now. And if anything nefarious was going on in his books, I wonder if that would implicate me in anything. I think I’m going to ask him to send me all the financial documents he originally
