I wake up in the morning and decide to take the day off work. The audit process is slow, and I don’t have a pressing need to work today. I have over 200 hours of time off accrued and over 400 sick hours accrued. I rarely ever call in and I don’t really take vacations. The only time I take off is for yearly physicals and once every few months I take a week to work on my property because my hours will be lost if I don’t use them, and I don’t really have anywhere I want to go right now. We traveled when I was a teen and I saw a lot of the things I wanted to see but since my parents died and I don’t really have close friendships I just don’t have the motivation to travel.
