I know it doesn't make sense that the bullied kid turned into the biggest bully and ashole in this shot Joel of a school where practically nothing gets done about kids like me cause they all turn a f*****g blind eye to the s**t that going on right in front of their damn faces and too damn scared to report it to my father.
I strode confidently down the aisle between the chairs everyone knows not to sit at the back cause that's our place so we can zone out and sleep and make some poor sap do the work for us. She looks up from where she sits and our eyes connect the big blue orbs hidden under the glasses on her face. I grin at her maliciously knowing that I've got my next sap. I'll make her do all the work and maybe I'll reward her. Damn, I'm getting hard just thinking of rewarding the dark-haired nerd two rows in front of us.
I haven't seen her around school, but I'm going to make it my mission to get to know her and get her to do what I can't be bothered to do: My work. And maybe just maybe I'll pass this year and make my dad proud of me for once.
I sat down and my friend grinned at me and shook their heads. “Do you guys have any idea who the girl is two tables up?”
“I think her name is Arden. She's some kind of ghost around here. She has no friends and keeps herself to herself.”
“She's also a nerd.”
I grin sadistically.
“You've found your next target haven't you?”
My grin grows wider. “Indeed I have the poor little puppy, won't know what's hit her.”
They all laugh and the teacher throws a death glare towards us. We roll our eyes. We don't give two shits about this lesson, just the nerd two tables in front. I'll make her do all my work, giving me time to do whatever I want. I look at my friends who are shaking their heads trying not to laugh. I think they want in on it too. But I saw her first.
The bell finally goes at the end of the lesson. We all packed up when I looked around for my little puppy. She was gone like a goddamn ghost.
“Told ya.”
“Whatever let's get out of here it's stifling.”
They nod in agreement and we leave to head for our next lesson.
Kayson
I never thought I would be moving from our old house but here I was, a new school, a new year at school and my last. My mother wasn't too pleased that we had to get up and leave. She had a good job there and I had decent friends. I wasn't sure if I would find any at my new school. I have visited once and I had heard the whispers in the corridors about some dude called Tate.
He was called a beast and not in a good way. I had made a mental note not to bump into him and get on his wrong side. So here I am Wednesday morning navigating my way through the corridors to find my first lesson in the hope that I wouldn't get lost. I turned the corner following the directions I had been given only moments ago. I smacked bang into a wall. I was so immersed in the map trying to find my first class, had I misguided a wall?
“What do we have here?” A rumble came from the wall.
Did walls even talk? If they did, I'd be hallucinating.
“I think it's the new kid everyone is talking about,” another voice chimed in. “No shit.”
I think I should go. I try to move around the wall in front of me but it seems to follow me.”
“I'm not done with you yet, new kid.”
Shit.
“Look at me while I'm talking to you.”
I slowly raise my eyes and I wish I hadn't the guy was as big as a brick s**t house with the most piercing green eyes I've ever seen. “What's your name, new kid?”
“What's it got to do with you?”
They all chuckle. “I like this kid, he's got balls.”
“Yeah, big brass balls that are going to get him in trouble.” he glared at me. “I'll ask you again, new kid, what's your name and don't rest me or you won't like the Consequences.”
“Kayson.”
“Kayson, what?”
“Frasier.”
“Kayson Fraiser, what?”
“I haven't got any more names.”
“You say, sir.”
I look at him confused.
“You're not a teacher.”
“No, I'm not, but I could be your worst nightmare.”
“I'm not scared of you.”
