Hovictus: The Rise of the Archeans

Chapter 12 - Domains

The people in Central Domain have been lessened because of the students who went home to their respective domains. The only left are mostly the richest family and personality in the Hovictus.

Central Domain is the most popular Domain and the expenses here are too high. Only rich people can stay here. However, the Ezklisea Academy is accepting students from different Domains who are either rich or average students with high EQ.

The humans do not know the existence of the Kingdom of Arcanea and the Empire of Vamprielle. They only know that there are five domains and going out of the borders will kill them. They do believe in the Domain

Between the Kingdom of Arcanea and the Empire of Vamprielle, is the Human Domains. The name of the four domains are based on the Deity who they are worshipping but for the people of Archeans, these are the areas in which they can learn unique skills. Due to the Obelus, only the Central Domain is connected to the other four, this means that a person needs to go to the Central Domain first before going from one domain to another. Most of the humans in the Domains do not know the existence of magic users and vampires, they see Archeans and vampires as human beings.

Outside the Arcanea, Vamprielle and Human Domains, is the Dark Realm. The three races do not even dare to go beyond the Dark Realm as no one ever returned from there. The Deity of each Domain reminded all their people not to think of going outside the Domains so they do not have a choice.

The path from the middle going to the Arcanea and from its opposite, Vamprielle, is not allowed for the people from the other domain. This is what Krieldyr and Felxir had found out. All this time, they thought that they could easily enter the Domains.

Krieldyr remembers that he needs to find the Deities to teach him their strengths and abilities to improve and enhance his power. Now, he is not sure how he will get there.

"These five Domains are very confusing, right?" Felxir said, tired of exploring the Central Domain. "I felt so tired. I didn't expect it to be this wide."

"I also did not expect that. I think we already explored all the places in Central Domain. We can now go back to Arcanea," Krieldyr said.

"Nice! We can now compare what we gathered from what our higher authorities know about the Domains in Hovictus," Felxir said, excitedly.

Since they don't want someone to see where Krieldyr and Felxir's path going home, they still themselves and didn't use any car. They even entered the straight path without the guards knowing. However, entering other Domains like that is not allowed because the Deities do not allow trespassers.

In the Central Domain, Krieldyr can do whatever he wants as long as it is not against the Domain Lord's rules. He is allowed to enter because he's a student in Ezklisea Academy.

"You can stay here at the palace if you want, Felxir. We have a lot of guest rooms here," Krieldyr invited.

"Really? I can stay here again for a vacation?" Felxir is always excited when the King and Queen or Krieldyr invites him to stay at the palace.

"Yes. Professor Jann is in the palace too. We can discuss all the information we gathered. Also, you will see your beloved puppy love. My cousin, Eura, will have a vacation too with us," Krieldyr said, for Felxir to be more excited from staying with them.

"Is it real?!" Felxir asked, surprisingly. "Finally, I am able to see Eura again after half of the year!"

Eura is the only cousin of Krieldyr on his mother's side. She is one year younger than Krieldyr. Her family is scared of letting Eura study at Ezklisea Academy. Eura is now studying at the Arcanea University and like Krieldyr, she is also smart. Everyone knows that she is the cousin of the prince so she's quite popular. Some of the Archeans even ask her what the prince looks like since the royal family is not exposing their prince.

"Yes, it's true. So stay here whenever you want. I know for sure that even her classmates adore her. Don't let it be too late and let someone be her first boyfriend. I really like you for her so do your best," Krieldyr kidded Felxir.

"Well, I will not turn your offer down. It's an opportunity for me to see Eura. You know, Eura has the prettiest face I've ever seen in my life. She's also kind but vulnerable. That's why I want to take care of her. However, I don't know if she only sees me as a friend," Felxir said.

When they entered the palace, the guards immediately welcomed them. Krieldyr is now wearing his mask to hide his identity. The guards knew his mask and classified him as their prince.

"Oh my, Dear! Our son is here!" the Queen shouted.

She ran towards Krieldyr and hugged him. Krieldyr did the same to his mother. His mother is always worried about his safety. It's Krieldyr's decision to study in Central Domain so the Queen cannot betray her son and stop him from doing what he likes.

"Mom, I missed you!" Krieldyr said. He is really affectionate to his family and will do his best to make sure of their safety and security.

"I missed you too, Krieldyr! I am so happy to see you safe and sound. Mom is so scared and worried about you. Please, always take care of yourself. I don't want you to sacrifice your own life for us. You are already doing great things. Do you want to study here in our Academy? Just tell me," the Queen said.

"I am fine, Mom. I will continue what I have started. Don't worry, I know what I am doing. Professor Jann and Felxir are there to help me. We are always making sure of our safety," Krieldyr assured.

"Okay, Kriel. I will trust you even more. Mom is just concerned, okay?" the Queen said.

The King joined them and started tapping Krieldyr and Felxir's shoulders. He is proud of the two because they are still young but already chose to serve their place looking for the justice they deserve.

"You two are already contributing a big impact to our Kingdom. If we do not have the evidence, the Domain Lord will be strict with us," the King said.

"That's right. I don't even understand why the vampires keep on trying to bring us down. They are really getting into my nerves," the Queen said, disappointed at the vampires' wrongdoings.

"They want to rule the whole Hovictus, that's why," Felxir interjected.

Just like Icerielle, the rulers of the Arcanea also want peace and the war between two races would end without hurting each other. This is the thing that the Vampire Lady and their King do not understand.
