Chapter Fifteen “I’m not going to say this twice, boys.” Tom grumbled. Johnnie squeezed his lips, thinking to himself that he had been right all along, whereas Sean turned to his friend, too shocked to utter a word. At that very moment, a bullet shattered the rear window of Tom’s truck. In a split second, his head was thrown forward. The gun slipped through his fingers, as he banged his head against the steering wheel. Blood was oozing from a small hole in the back of his head.
